What oil is the birdcage stained with?

In the process of setting up the cage, you can not only appreciate your cage slowly, but also make it properly maintained and become antique. This is the meaning and fun of cage setting.

If the new cage is not properly polished and the surface is rough, gently polish it with fine sandpaper to remove the rough parts and burrs of bamboo. Many modern new cages are polished in place, so this step can be omitted Then brush the floating ash lightly with a small toothbrush, then wipe the cage with a semi-dry white cloth (to prevent the color of the colored cloth from fading), and then dry it in the shade. I usually repeat this step three times to clean the cage thoroughly (sometimes the wax used by the owner to polish the cage will remain in the new cage, and it is difficult to paint the cage without removing the wax from the cage). New cages are usually dry. To prevent cracking and deformation, the second part should be oiled. I use baby oil, which contains silicone oil, to protect the cage and not hurt my hands. Wipe thoroughly inside and outside and let it stand for a day or two. The new cage eats a lot of oil, and sometimes it dries up as soon as it is oiled. I usually repeat this oiling process three times. Next, you can use the hand tray cage directly. Wash your hands before washing dishes. Although the cage likes the sweat and grease on your hands, it must be clean, otherwise it will become dirt. A good cage is to keep rubbing between your fingers and carefully observe the subtle changes. When you compare the cage with the new cage one day, your sense of accomplishment and satisfaction will arise spontaneously.
