English Sentence Constituents
In English, there are eight major sentence components: subject, predicate, object, epithet, determiner, complement, cognate, and dative.
Subject: the object from which the verb is sent
Predicate: the verb
Object: the object from which the verb is borne
Expression: describes the quality, nature, identity, character and state of the subject, usually in the tense verb (be/become/feel/sound/turn...)
Definitive: used to modify or describe the subject or object, adjectives are usually used as determiners
Complementary: used to supplement the subject or object
Homonym: i.e. "in the same position", a noun is used to explain another noun or pronoun.
Adverbials: They indicate time, place, reason, purpose, result, manner, degree, etc. Adverbs are usually used as adverbs.
