Selection of pig breeds

3. At present, there are two widely used hybrid pig combination modes in China:

First of all, the Du Changyuan hybrid pig combination model is produced by crossing foreign lean pig breeds, which has the remarkable characteristics of high feed reward, fast daily gain and high lean meat rate, and is suitable for intensive pig farms and large-scale pig farms with high production level;

4. The second is to produce long-term hybrid pigs with local pigs as female parents and foreign improved lean pigs as first and second male parents. This hybrid pig is suitable for farmers and pig farms of moderate scale.
