The smell of rice fragrance: film review

The film "The Taste of Mihua" mainly tells the story that the young mother who goes out to work returns to her hometown and her rebellious daughter changes from strangeness and alienation to mutual understanding.

The shooting location was in a small village inhabited by Dai people on the Yunnan border. The whole dialogue of the characters is also in Yunnan dialect, and the protagonist is only a few neighbors.
