Hani folk culture

The folk culture of Hani nationality is mainly reflected in dress, diet, marriage and holiday customs.

1, Dress Custom: Hani men generally like to wrap their heads with green cloth, and then wear double-breasted shirts and pants with large crotch. Women like to wear black or blue robes, lace hats on their heads, colored belts around their waists and silver ornaments on their wrists and ankles.

Hani language and writing:

The classification and characteristics of hani language: hani language belongs to the Yi branch of the Tibeto-Burman language family of the Sino-Tibetan language family. There are three dialects, namely Haya dialect, Bika dialect and Bai Hao dialect, and there are several dialects under the dialects. Hani language is a kind of tonal language with four tones, which are represented by Latin letters A, E, O and U respectively. There are many loanwords from Chinese, Dai, Wa and other national languages in hani language's vocabulary.
