Is there a difference between fleshy and Yushu?

Succulents and Yushu are two different plants.

Succulent plants are a kind of plants with fleshy leaves, stems or roots, which can survive in harsh environmental conditions such as drought and high temperature. Common succulents are cactus, bamboo-backed turtle, tiger tail orchid and so on.

Yushu refers to some species belonging to Rubiaceae and Compositae, with a jade appearance. These plants usually grow slowly and have beautiful appearance, and are sometimes used as bonsai or ornamental plants.

Although Yushu and succulents have strong drought resistance, they are different in morphology. In the plant kingdom, succulents are a relatively broad classification, including many different kinds of plants. Yushu is one of the specific species, which is obviously different from other succulents in morphology.
