What is RES on a car

Currently most of the cruise control system buttons are mainly: the key to open the key (ON/OFF), cancel the key (CANCEL), set the current speed (SET), restore the set speed (RES), accelerate (+) generally and the RES key together, and decelerate (-) and the SET key together. Specific use is as follows:

1, press the on/off key to open the system, at this time the dashboard cruise control indicator light;

2, accelerate to the speed you need, press the SET key, at this time, your right foot can release the throttle, the speed is set to the current speed;

3, press the "RES+" in the current speed to increase the speed, press "SET-" to decrease the speed at the current speed;

4, three ways to release the cruise control: step on the brake, press the cancel (CANCEL) key, press the switch (ON/OFF) key;

5, if it is stepping on the brake or pressing the cancel key to cancel the cruise, you can press RES key to restore to the previous cruise speed.
