If the erhu is well protected, it can not only prolong the service life, but also make the sound quality more pure and harmonious. A good erhu, besides being protected by a piano box, should also pay attention to:

(1) Cortex fraxini is easy to collapse after it is soft, so be sure to prevent it from getting wet. Don't hang the erhu on the wet earth wall. Pay more attention in rainy season. When you don't play, you can cut out the pencils and chopsticks to make a long code and put them horizontally above the code to reduce the pressure on the piano skin. The length of the long code is as long as the diameter of the piano barrel, and the height can be slightly shorter than the piano code.

You can also practice the piano in a low voice with long yards. If the leather has collapsed, it should be remedied in time. You can take off the piano code, dip your fingers in cold water and evenly spread it on the piano skin, dry it in the shade for one night, and then use it the next day after the piano skin is dry and flat. Never dry it with fire or leave it in the scorching sun. If the leather is too dry, you can rub some cooking oil and lubricating oil inside and outside the leather.

② When using the bow, loosen the screws on the bow rod in time to keep the elasticity of the bow rod. When hanging the bow, you should prevent the bow hair from breaking, rub rosin frequently (seven or eight times back and forth), and don't touch the bow hair with your fingers. If the bow hair is dirty, wash it with soap and hot water, or scrub the rosin stuck to the bow hair and chords with alcohol cotton to remove dirt. When washing the bow hair for the first time, a small piece of rosin should be ground into powder, and the bow hair should be rubbed in the broken rosin to make the bow hair stick with rosin inside and outside.

The ponytail will become smooth after being used for a long time, and the rosin will fall off soon after being rubbed, making it difficult to transport the bow. It's time to change the ponytail.
