Chinese hospitals can use medical insurance cards.

Nowadays, Chinese medicine hospitals are also included in the medical insurance system, and as long as you visit a regular Chinese medicine hospital, you can be reimbursed for the consultation fee and medicine fee according to the regulations. There is one exception to this, and that is some private traditional Chinese medicine clinics, which may not be covered by the health insurance system, so they cannot be reimbursed.

Medicare cards can only be reimbursed if you buy drugs from a designated pharmacy. Employee health insurance cards can be used to purchase drugs from the health insurance catalog, and 90 percent of traditional Chinese medicines are Medicare Part A drugs. Only a few animal and valuable Chinese medicine is not reimbursed, such as Gao Li, ginseng, hippocampus and so on. Common Chinese medicines needed for illness are reimbursable.

Individual health insurance process is as follows:

1, the participant carries his own valid documents, to the neighboring districts and counties to apply for health insurance center, district and county health insurance center on the spot to be completed;

2, the participant can also be adjacent to the street, the health care service point to apply for on behalf of the application, the service point will be completed within three working days. The participant should go to the service center within the specified time to get the health insurance card on behalf of the participant;

3. The participant can entrust another person to do it on behalf of the participant. The delegated person should bring along his/her own and the participant's valid documents when handling the application;

4. If the application is centralized by the employer, the employer can go to the medical insurance center of the county or district to which it belongs to handle the application by presenting a letter of introduction from the employer and the valid documents of the person who is handling the application, and then the employer will issue the medical insurance card to the participant. The social medical insurance card, referred to as the medical insurance card or medical insurance card, is a special card for the medical insurance personal account, using the personal ID card as the identification code, storing and recording the personal ID card number, name, gender, as well as the account of the allocation of funds, consumption and other detailed information.

In summary, most of the Chinese hospital medical insurance card can be reimbursed for common Chinese medicines needed to get sick. 90% of Chinese medicines are Medicare Part A drugs. Only a few animals and expensive Chinese medicines cannot be reimbursed, such as foreign ginseng and seahorses.

The state improves the supply capacity of essential drugs, strengthens the quality supervision of essential drugs, and ensures the fair accessibility and rational use of essential drugs.
