How to objectively evaluate the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine?

Many people think that Chinese medicine is not as effective as western medicine. I think western medicine will have great advantages if it is evaluated individually. If comprehensively evaluated, people may finally think that Chinese medicine is better!

For example, under the same conditions, diabetic patients are divided into two groups, one group is treated with traditional Chinese medicine and the other with western medicine. Finally, make a statistical analysis: which group of patients takes quick effect, which group of patients has a lasting and stable condition, which group of patients has fewer complications, which group of patients has a low recurrence rate, and which group of patients is more likely to recover after recurrence. Which group of patients has a more normal life, which group has a lower probability of developing new diseases, which group has a longer life span, and so on. Such a comprehensive evaluation can reflect the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine!

Unfortunately, the state has allocated very little funds for TCM research. Because the development direction is wrong, most of these limited funds are spent on some boring projects! So that some people attack Chinese medicine without definite curative effect, and the Chinese medicine community can't come up with an authoritative and convincing exact data to prove it!

There are not many things that should be done and many things that should not be done. In this case, the functional department in charge of Chinese medicine should ask itself: Are you ashamed?
