Legal basis: The acceptance conditions of Article 28 of the Provisional Regulations on Marriage Registration are as follows: (1) The marriage registration office has jurisdiction; (2) If both men and women want to get married, they shall jointly apply to the marriage registration authority; (3) The party concerned has reached the age of 22 for males and 20 for females; (4) Both parties have no spouse (unmarried, divorced or widowed); (five) the parties have no lineal blood relatives and collateral blood relatives within three generations; (6) Both parties get married voluntarily; (seven) the parties to submit three recent bareheaded two-inch photos of both sides; (eight) the parties hold valid certificates as stipulated in Articles 29 to 35 of these Standards.
