Yuantan is a traditional Chinese holiday, the Yuan is the "beginning", the beginning of the number called "Yuan"; Dan is the "day". Yuan Dan, meaning "initial day". It first appeared in the "Book of Jin": "Zhuan Di to the first month of Meng Xia for the yuan, in fact, the first day of the spring."
