Survey report on the happiness of residents I:
I. Survey Background:
Gross National Happiness (GNH) was first proposed in the 1970s by the King of Bhutan, who believed that "policy should be concerned with happiness and should be aimed at realizing it" and that life's "basic problem is how to live a material life (including the benefits of science and technology) and a spiritual life. The basic question of life is how to maintain a balance between material life (including the benefits of science and technology) and spiritual life". Guided by this philosophy of governance, Bhutan creatively developed the Gross National Happiness (GNH) indicator, which consists of four levels: good governance, economic growth, cultural development, and environmental protection. If the GNH reflects a material and production-oriented approach, the GNH reflects a people-oriented approach. Policies that are entirely driven by economic growth often lead people into a trap of materialism, from which it is difficult to extricate themselves.
In 2011, happiness became a hot word at the local government's two sessions at the start of the 12th Five-Year Plan. A lot of places gradually showed the trend of "GDP deceleration, happiness speed". From this, we can see that the "happiness index" is placed in a very important position, it will also be more attention and attention.
II. Survey preparation:
In order to reflect the subjective happiness of residents, in the questionnaire design, respectively, designed the basic situation and the questionnaire part of the survey items, including physical and mental health, social well-being (social security, social environment), economic income, self-worth, family happiness and interpersonal relationships, etc. Multi-dimensional construction of the indicator system, and the preparation of the happiness index based on the sample survey. On the Internet to check some information about the questionnaire and report, through the collection of information and reference to examples of the preliminary design of the questionnaire, through their own repeatedly viewed and refer to the views of others, and repeatedly modify the final questionnaire for the survey. Finally, according to the actual situation to determine the survey population and more feasible implementation of the program, the implementation of specific surveys to make plans. Since then, the investigation of the preparatory work is basically completed.

With the renovation of the city, there are more and more humanized facilities. Clean and free public toilets in the city, street parks with beautiful environment, more and more urban greenery, more and more complete fitness facilities, more and more convenient transportation facilities, all of these are for the government's satisfaction and happiness index to improve the basis. The main factors affecting the residents' happiness index
Economic income and physical and mental health:
The degree of influence of economic income on happiness is self-evident, and it is the most direct and important factor in the influence of all social and material conditions on happiness; as the old saying goes, "the body is the capital of the revolution", and having a healthy body, A positive and optimistic mindset is the most fundamental need for people's happiness, which naturally has a profound impact on the sense of well-being, which means that for the general public, having a stable and affluent life and a healthy body is already a great happiness in life.
Family harmony and social environment:
Family life is an important factor in people's happiness. A happy family life means having a stable home and understanding and supportive family members, and this sense of stability and family support will undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of happiness. The social environment also affects people's sense of well-being to a certain extent, in which the advantages and disadvantages of the living environment affects the mood and lifestyle of the residents, and secondly, the convenience of transportation will not only facilitate the travel of the residents, but also relates to their physical and mental health, for example, out of the travel, shopping, shopping and so on, can make the people's life become colorful, and thus the sense of well-being will be a little higher.
Interpersonal relationships and self-worth realization:
Indicating that good interpersonal relationships can ease the pressure of work and life, enhance self-confidence, and provide convenience and certain assistance to residents in dealing with various aspects of their lives, which naturally enhances their sense of social well-being. Residents are confident in the realization of self-worth or have high expectations, indicating that the future is positive and optimistic, to maintain a happy mood, optimistic mindset, more of their own strengths, the ability to play, the inner satisfaction will increase, and the sense of well-being will also increase.
VI. Summary of Findings
Sorting of Factors Affecting Happiness
(1) Healthy mind and body and family harmony directly affect the people's sense of well-being. The healthier the mind and and body are, the more opportunities for exposure to new things, and the more the ability and vigor to create a new life. Home is not only a cozy harbor for people, but also a source of love for people. With a harmonious family, family members will have more energy to work hard for the family and more mood to carry out family activities. Therefore, a healthy mind and body as well as family harmony has an important position in influencing the residents' sense of well-being.
(2) The level of income will also directly affect the people's happiness index, the higher the income, the stronger the sense of happiness. The residents with a lower sense of happiness are often those who do not have a high income or are not satisfied with their income. The higher income level of the population, due to their material life and personal value of the realization of a relatively high degree, then their happiness index is relatively high overall. As the income level increases, people's happiness also increases in a stepwise manner, which fully reflects the importance of increasing the income of urban and rural residents.
(3) There are significant differences in the happiness of people of different ages. The group with the lowest happiness is mainly the 31~45 age group, which is facing the problems of children's education, old people's support, career development, etc. The pressure of life and work is too great, and the expectation of oneself is high, which leads to physical and mental exhaustion, which is the main factor of their low happiness index. And the happiness of people in the age group above 60 is the highest, followed by those between 18-30 years old.
(4) The happiness index of women is slightly higher than that of men, most women assume the role of the main internal in the family, basically revolving around the family, and mainly get happiness from family members; while men are more concerned about income and personal value realization, and social pressure is higher. Therefore, women's satisfaction with life and experience of positive emotions are stronger than men's, so their sense of well-being is higher than men.
(5) Those with a stronger sense of well-being are government personnel and school students, while those with a weaker sense of well-being are self-employed, ordinary residents, corporate employees and others. The former have a fixed income, greater occupational stability, high social status, and good social insurance, all of which are superior to other occupations and thus increase their happiness. School students have not yet had much opportunity to experience the pressures that occur in society in various aspects, so their happiness is higher. As for the related occupations with lower happiness, how to improve the basic needs for happiness of this group of people is an issue that the whole social security system needs to think about and solve From the happiness rate, more than 74.70% of the respondents feel that their lives are happier.
The so-called happiness rate, which refers to the percentage of a certain number of people who say they are happy, is a method used to measure the breadth of people's happiness in percentage.
Happiness equation: happiness index = utility/desire. Desire is a feeling of lack and a desire for satisfaction, which is divided into five levels, from bottom to top: the first level is the basic physiological needs of man, the second level is the need for security, the third level is the need for belonging and love, the fourth level is the need for respect, and the fifth level is the need for self-actualization. Utility is the degree of satisfaction derived from consuming an item and is the fulfillment of a desire. The determination of a person's happiness or unhappiness can be obtained from the answers, with a score of 1 as the dividing line. Anything less than 1 proves unhappiness, and anything equal to or greater than 1 proves happiness. If our desire index is high and the utility we get in our current lifestyle is low, then the resulting happiness index is zero or so, that means we are not in a good state of life, making us feel unhappy, and the severity of unhappiness is measured according to the number, the smaller the number the more unhappy it means, and if the utility is higher than the desire, the resulting score is greater than 1, and that proves to be a happy person. Similarly, the index of happiness is also judged according to the number of scores, and the larger the number is, the happier it proves to be, i.e., the higher the sense of happiness. That is, the individual according to their own objective conditions of life and the state of a factual judgment, for the subjective significance of life and the degree of satisfaction of a value judgment, which is expressed in the life satisfaction based on a positive psychological experience.
Survey results show that 11.76% and 52.94% of the permanent residents surveyed said that they were very happy and relatively happy with their lives, while 35.29% said they were generally happy, which means that 0% of the residents think they are not happy.
VII. Problems
In the research, it was found that some places, when determining happiness, take for granted that they set some contents that have nothing to do with people's happiness, and turn the happiness survey and statistics into a numbers game. Some officials, in order to highlight their own achievements, everywhere publicity and hype, show to create momentum, engage in flashy "happiness image project", and even the people have not yet assessed, has been declared ahead of time their own city as a "happy paradise" or "Happiness 100% city" and so on, this reached the apex of the happiness index rating can only be the happiness of officials, paper happiness, the people are no happiness to speak of.
Happiness can, to a certain extent, be seen in the people's quality of life and subjective satisfaction with life. The happiness of the people in the final analysis can not rely on official data "a hammer". What is happiness? Where is happiness? Can only rely on the people to say. Happiness in the people's lives, happiness in the people's hearts. Can't afford to buy a house, how many children can't go to school, often ask whether the masses can use clean water, eat to the safe food, breathe to the fresh air, to the masses of the cold and warmth, empathy, to the people's difficulties and problems, one by one to solve the implementation of the problem, only in this way can we make the happiness from the cold figures into a warm personal experience.
For the happiness of life satisfaction, value realization, needs fulfillment and other subjective and abstract indicators, policymakers should be scientific and realistic spirit, accurately reflect the actual feelings of the people as a way to step up to improve policies and measures to correct the deviation of the basic basis.
VIII. Suggestions for improvement
While the happiness index for life has increased, but the price of goods crazy, the wage leveling trend has also become the public's worries, the government should be more social welfare benefits and social insurance system, so that the public "young people have to rely on, old people have a sense of security. So that the people's sense of well-being increased, the government can get more support.
9. Self-recognition and experience
This social practice activities, let me realize that individual strength is weak, teamwork is a conducive form of work. In this activity, I also have the opportunity to more in-depth exchange and communication with people from all walks of life, through this shortcut I was able to enter the community to contact society and understand society. Although we no longer play the role of freshmen in the university, but in the society of this university, the tenderness of our face completely betrayed us. Here there are many things we need to continue to learn, here there is nothing you can not do, only you do not go to do things. Seriously study, hard work is the true meaning of life!
Survey Report on Happiness II:
I. Introduction
(I) Background of the study
Since the reform and opening up, the biggest change brought to us by modernization is the increase in the material standard of living and the improvement of living standards. However, in contrast to the improvement of objective living standards, subjective happiness has not shown a corresponding degree of improvement.
(II) Content of the study
1. Questionnaire design
Happiness is a question with rich connotations, and it is mainly affected by the satisfaction of material life and spiritual needs. We designed a number of questions for these aspects to reflect the factors affecting national happiness.
2. Research object and method.
(1) Research object. Students, career youth, middle-aged, elderly and women were investigated for happiness, happiness or unhappiness respectively.
(2) Questionnaire distribution and recovery process. ***Made 50 questionnaires and recovered 34
(3)Research method. Made chart analysis and percentage analysis of the main reasons affecting the happiness of residents.
Two, an overview of the survey on residents' happiness
(a) happiness and happiness
Happiness has a lot of practical significance, but as far as the answer to what is happiness, there are a lot of practical problems: the French writer Romain came up with: "Happiness is a fragrance of the soul." If the real statistics, not to mention the "soul", "flavor" of these abstract concepts can not begin, even if it is "are you happy", "how happy" this kind of question. Even questions like "are you happy" or "how happy are you" are unanswerable to many people.
Happiness is similar, job stability, high income, various benefits are guaranteed, these are the material security of happiness; family harmony, harmony is the spiritual security of happiness. Even so, there is an unhappy side of happy people, such as encountering emotional setbacks, may not feel happy, and more importantly, happiness is just a feeling, it is fluctuating.
(2) Attitude towards happiness
No happiness can come overnight. Instead, people are more likely to hope that happiness is as silent as spring rain, and that life will change every year. At present, many major livelihood issues in China's economic and social fields have just been broken. Such as medical care, education, ecological and other issues, are extremely complex systems engineering. Solve these problems, not overnight, need the whole society to pay long-term and hard work.
Three, the results of the survey on residents' happiness and its analysis
(a) Among the respondents, the proportion of those who answered "very happy" was 14.7%, and the proportion of those who answered "relatively happy" was the highest, accounting for about 60% of the total, at 35.3%. 35.3%, the two add up to 50%;
There are 20.6% of the people made the choice of not being able to say, 20.6% of the people think that they are living "not too happy", the proportion of people inclined to answer the answer of unhappiness is 8.8%.
By gender, the proportion of women who answered "very happy" and "relatively happy" was higher than that of men, which is consistent with the results of many foreign studies.
From the perspective of education level, the happiness of the respondents with undergraduate education and above is the highest, 17% feel very happy and 61% feel relatively happy; the happiness of the respondents with vocational high school, junior college or technical school education is the lowest, the proportion of those who answered "very happy" is 13%, and the proportion of those who answered "relatively happy" is 13%, and the proportion of those who answered "very happy" and "relatively happy" is 13%. The proportion of respondents who answered "very happy" was 13%, and the proportion of respondents who answered "relatively happy" was 56%.
Looking at different age groups, the highest proportion of respondents who answered "very happy" was in the 61-70 age group, while the lowest were in the 31-40 and 41-50 age groups. In addition, young people under the age of 30 tended to give the highest percentage of unhappy responses, while no one over the age of 70 considered themselves "unhappy".
(2) First of all, the happiness index marks the beginning of a historical stage in China's social development, which is characterized by the fact that the accumulation of social wealth has freed the majority of the population from the constraints of the basic needs of survival, and the fulfillment of the population's higher-level needs has become possible. From the pursuit of higher living standards to the overall improvement of the quality of life has begun to become an objective demand of the majority of the population, and has also begun to become a realistic goal of social macro-decision-making. Secondly, it reflects the inherent requirements of the scientific outlook on development and a harmonious socialist society, and begins to pay attention to the humanistic and social environment indicators, including the happiness index, emphasizing the significance of the intrinsic experience and feelings of social individuals in realizing the goal of comprehensive development of human beings, which is the inevitable result of re-examining the previous social development indicators under the guidance of the scientific outlook on development and the rightful meaning of the topic of building a harmonious socialist society. Finally, it is completely consistent with the value orientation and ultimate goal of social policymakers. As the leading core of China's socialist cause, the Party always puts the interests of the people in the first place, which determines the Party's policy choices will inevitably seek happiness for the people, and provide the people with the best possible conditions for survival and development as the value standard to follow.
(3) The country is increasingly focusing on the healthy development of the human factor, truly reflecting the people-oriented. People-oriented, is the core of the scientific concept of development. People are the fundamental purpose of development. The purpose of putting forward the people-centered scientific concept of development is to unify economic and social development with human development, so that the results of economic and social development will be consistent with the nature and purpose of our Party, and that the results of development will be harmonized with the goals of development. As Comrade _ has said, adhering to the people-centred approach means aiming to realize the comprehensive development of the human person, seeking and promoting development in the fundamental interests of the people, constantly meeting the growing material and cultural needs of the people, effectively safeguarding their economic, political and cultural rights and interests, and allowing the fruits of development to benefit all people. Only by adhering to the people-centered approach can we "return the human world and human relations to the people themselves" and truly realize the harmonious development of man and nature, man and society, and man and himself. Adhere to the people-oriented, not abstract, empty slogans, must be implemented into the development of every measure, implemented into the reform of every action.
Four, the relevant causes of the discussion or measures
April 1988, Howard Ginson was 24 years old, is the United States of America, Columbia University's Department of Philosophy PhD. The topic of his thesis was "What Human Happiness Depends on". In order to accomplish this topic, he sent out 10,000 questionnaires to random members of the public. In the questionnaire, there are detailed personal data registration, and five options: A very happy, B happy, C average, D painful, E very painful. After more than two months, he eventually returned more than 5,200 valid questionnaires. After counting, only 121 people considered themselves very happy.
Next, Howard Jensen did a detailed investigation and analysis of these 121 people. He found that 50 of these 121 people, the city's successful people, their happiness comes mainly from the success of their careers. The other 71 people, some of them are ordinary housewives, some of them are farmers selling vegetables, some of them are small staff in the company, and some of them are even homeless people receiving welfare. Why do these people with ordinary careers have such a high sense of happiness? Through many contacts with these people, Howard Jensen found that although these people have diverse occupations and different personalities, they have one thing in common, that is, they do not have too much demand for material things. They are bland and self-protecting, peaceful and poor, and very able to enjoy the ordinary life of wood, rice, oil and salt.
Howard Kinson was inspired by such findings. So he came up with this thesis summary: There are two kinds of people in this world who are the happiest, one is the ordinary person who is indifferent and quiet, and the other is the outstanding person who is successful and famous. If you are an ordinary person, you can achieve happiness by cultivating your heart mixed with laundry detergent and reducing your desires. If you are an outstanding person, you can achieve success in your career through enterprising and striving, and then, achieve a higher level of happiness. His supervisor read the paper and appreciated it so much that he gave it a big "excellent"! After graduation, Edward Jinsen stayed in school to teach. In a flash, more than twenty years have passed. Now, Edward Jensen also by the year of the youth of the spirit of growth for the United States a well-known tenured professors.
In June, 20__, a chance, he turned out that year's thesis. He wondered what happened to the 121 people who thought they were "very happy". Is their happiness still as strong as it was back then? He found out the contact information of those 121 people and spent three months to conduct a questionnaire survey on them. The results of the survey came back. Those 71 ordinary people back then, except for two who passed away,**** 69 questionnaires were retrieved. Over the years, the lives of these 69 people have changed a lot though: some of them have been among the ranks of successful people; some have been living ordinary lives; and some have been living in very straitened circumstances due to illnesses and accidents. However, none of their options have changed and they still feel "very happy". The options for the 50 successful people changed dramatically. Only 9 of them had a smooth career and still stuck to their choice - very happy. 23 of them chose "average". Sixteen people chose "miserable" because they had suffered setbacks in their careers, either through bankruptcy or demotion. Another two chose "very miserable". Looking at the results of the survey, Howard Ginson was deep in thought, and for several days he was lost in his own thoughts.
Two weeks later, Howard Ginson published a paper in the Washington Post titled "The Code of Happiness". In the paper, he described in detail the process and results of the two questionnaires. At the end of the paper, he concluded that all happiness supported by material things cannot last and will leave with the departure of material things. Only the calmness and serenity of the mind, followed by the physical and mental pleasure, is the real source of happiness. Happiness is a fluctuating, system of a state of physical and mental pleasure, know how to be satisfied to have true happiness.
College students' happiness survey report III:
I. Preface
(A) The reason for the survey:
The pursuit of happiness is one of the people's eternal and unchanging theme, with the continuous improvement of the quality of life of the requirements of their own, happiness is increasingly becoming the topic of people's attention, and therefore, the happiness of college students should be the topic of investigation of school ideology and ethics. The investigation of the topic should be an important part of the school's ideological and moral education. Guiding college students to establish a scientific and rational view of happiness, improving the quality and ability of college students to pursue happiness, and helping college students to realize the construction of a happy life are the basic connotations of college students' happiness education. In order to understand the state of college students' happiness, our group investigated college students in different provinces, different types and levels, and through understanding the state of college students' happiness, we put forward suggestions on how college students can improve their happiness, and our college students' happiness is stronger.
(2) survey object: college students from different levels, different types, different provinces
(3) survey method: due to the conditions, our group used a questionnaire survey, the questionnaire are used in the form of multiple-choice questions, divided into multiple choice questions and single-choice questions, the survey **** sent out a questionnaire of 100, the actual retrieval of valid questionnaires 91
( (D) survey content: the basic personal information of college students, understanding of happiness, the state of happiness, factors affecting the sense of happiness, as well as views on improving the sense of happiness, etc.
Two, the results and analysis
(a) College students' understanding of happy life
College students' understanding of happiness is an important and fundamental question to examine their concept of happiness, and the answer to this question often determines the views of other issues in the concept of happiness. In the questionnaire survey of "your understanding of happy life", the subjects answered the questions by listing to get the understanding, as can be seen from Table 1 and Table 2, healthy body, academic success, rich material conditions, living with the people they love, having a close friend to be respected and understood, and unrestrained spiritual world are all important indicators, and the percentage of the students' understanding of happiness is very high. are all important indicators, with percentages of 86.81%, 64.84%, 60.44%, 74.73%, 74.74% and 63.74% respectively. It can be seen that the majority of college students' understanding of happiness is positive and upward, whether it is for life or study, college students can generally understand the true meaning of happiness, the pursuit of happiness is the motivation for every college student to work hard for it. The pursuit of happiness is what every university student strives for. It is crucial to establish a correct concept of happiness. See the chart below for more details:
(2) Overall happiness of college students
1. 55% of the students in the survey thought they were happy, 44% thought they were occasionally happy and occasionally unhappy, and only 1% thought they were unhappy, which shows that the happiness of college students is still very high. This shows that the happiness of college students now is still very strong.
2. On the question of what kind of people we think are the happiest, 64% of the students think that they are ordinary people around them, 13% of the students think that they are their parents and their generation, of course, there are also 23% of them think that they are celebrities or celebrities in the society, so we also analyze that most of the students have a strong sense of reality, and they can pay attention to their surrounding life, but also some students don't know how to be happy and satisfied. contented, thinking that the glamorous stars are the happiness.
(C) college students believe that the elements that have an impact on the sense of happiness
1. Money is still closely related to happiness
As shown in the table, the number of people who believe that happiness and money have a very necessary relationship with the number of investigators accounted for 13.19%, the number of people who believe that happiness and money have a certain relationship with the number of investigators accounted for 76.92%, and the number of people who believe that happiness has nothing to do with the number of investigators accounted for only 1.1% of the number of investigators. accounted for 1.1% of the survey.
What's noteworthy is that only a small percentage of college students believe that a happy life is based on money, which can be observed that today's college students are still more objective and rational in their understanding of "money".
2. Learning career education has an important influence on happiness
As shown in the table, the number of people who think that learning career education has a general influence on happiness accounted for 31.87% of the surveyed people, the number of people who think that learning career education has a great influence on happiness accounted for 64.84% of the surveyed people, and only 3.3% of the people think that learning career education has no influence on happiness.
Education plays an important role in helping students develop a correct view of happiness. Having a correct view of happiness has an important guiding role in obtaining happiness. From this, it can be observed that college students value and recognize education.
3. Diversification of Happiness Influencing Factors
In the survey, we set up multiple-choice questions, as can be seen from the chart, almost every option, more than 50 people chose, more than half of the total number of people. It can be seen that the pursuit of happiness and feelings of contemporary college students do not rely solely on one of the elements, showing the maturity and objectivity of contemporary college students' thinking.
Three suggestions
(1) From the point of view of school education
1. We should actively guide college students to the essence of happiness
2. We should strengthen the cultivation of college students' ability to pursue happiness, improve their ability to withstand the frustration of pursuing happiness, and educate students to correctly look at the relationship between their families and careers.
3. Guiding college students to correctly reconcile their material and spiritual needs, and their needs for enjoyment and creativity, and to recognize and deal with the relationship between individual and collective social needs, so that individual needs are consciously subordinate to and integrated into collective and social needs. To guide college students to correctly recognize and deal with the relationship between frustration and success, to fully understand themselves, to clarify the direction, to avoid blindness, to set goals, and to be firm in their confidence.
4. Guiding students to the correct attribution of frustration, eliminating pessimism, overcoming frustration, invigorating the spirit of resilience, and timely provision of necessary psychological counseling and and help for college students to ensure that they are positive and optimistic to adapt to the environment, to create a happy and beautiful future.
5. Strengthen the campus cultural construction, from different sides and at different levels for college students to create the conditions and opportunities to participate in social life, improve the ability to adapt to the environment.
6. So that each student can participate in various activities to understand themselves, recognize their own value in a certain collective or social activities, so that their thoughts and behaviors are consistent with social norms and mainstream culture, have a full and rich in their spare time meaningful, in a healthy and positive campus culture to meet the needs of the development of knowledge and cultivate the potential to enhance the sentiment and enhance their sense of well-being. .
7. Strengthen the construction of mental health education courses, for them to open college students mental health interpersonal psychology vocational psychology and other courses, in order to help college students to understand and grasp the law of their own development, improve the way of self-understanding, so as to be able to promote self-adjustment, better adapt to the development of society.
(2) From the viewpoint of the college students themselves
1. College students should establish a scientific worldview and life values, clarify their life goals, establish their own life ideals, correctly deal with the relationship between money and life, personal and social, to prevent gold-digging, individualism, pessimism and nihilism, and to be positive and optimistic in the positive and enterprising
