What is an intelligent builder?

Intelligent builder is a new type of high-level comprehensive talents based on civil engineering and integrating computer application technology, project management and mechanical automation. It is a highly integrated and compound professional and technical talent who understands not only traditional engineering construction technology and project management knowledge, but also new building technologies such as BIM technology, assembled building technology, green building technology and building big data.

Under the condition that the traditional engineering construction technology and construction production mode can no longer meet the needs of new social development, both intelligent builders and traditional builders are undertaking the new development direction and future of China's construction industry. With the continuous development and promotion of new building industrialization and new infrastructure construction, as craftsmen in the new era, intelligent builders will also be the leaders and creators of the next architectural era.

The coordinated development of intelligent building and building industrialization represents the high-quality development direction of the construction industry, and has become the frontier for major building countries in the world to continuously increase investment and actively explore. In particular, construction robots have broad application prospects and huge market, which has become the focus of global construction industry.

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the document Opinions of General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Sustainable and Healthy Development of Construction Industry (Guo Ban Fa [20 17] 19), accelerate the scientific, informational and intelligent level of engineering construction technology, and further improve the theory and skill level of construction professionals, the professional technology of intelligent builders is jointly developed by the Certification Center of China Academy of Building Sciences and Beijing Zhongpei Guoyu Talent Evaluation Technology Center.
