Introduction of Nansha Gymnasium
Nansha Gymnasium is a martial arts competition venue for the 20 10 Guangzhou Asian Games. The nine curved surface units of its shell are stacked one by one, divided into two groups, north and south, which are spirally and radially spread around the center of the competition hall. The purpose of this treatment is to divide the volume of a single building into two parts, and connect them closely in a dynamic way, symbolizing the highest state of China Wushu-"the combination of Yin and Yang, the unity of man and nature".
