School size

The predecessor of the college is Kunming Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. Technical School, which was founded in 1964. In 2002, Kunming Industrial Vocational and Technical College was established. As of June 2023 1, the school has 10 functional management department, Marxist college, general education and quality education college, eight tertiary colleges and 58 majors; By the end of February 2022, there were 684 school teachers. The school has 14000 full-time students.
