Decocting method of Siwu decoction
1. Prepare Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba and Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, and rinse them slightly.
2. Soak the medicinal materials for more than half an hour.
3. Put the herbs and water into the pot and add 2 bowls of water.
4. Pour half a bowl of yellow wine.
5. After the fire boils, cook with low fire until there is only one bowl of water left (about 25 minutes).
6. Pour out the medicine juice.
7. Boil the pharmaceutical residue (one dose of medicine should be boiled twice, so as to give full play to the medicinal properties of medicinal materials), that is, add 3 bowls of water (do not add rice wine) to the remaining medicinal materials, cover the lid, boil, and then turn down the fire until only one bowl of water remains (about 20 minutes).
8. Mix these two medicines together.
9. Divide the decoction into two parts and take it once in the morning and once in the evening. Add warm water before drinking, and add some honey to taste.
