Where is the Mekong River?
Mekong River is called Lancang River in China. In Yunnan, it flows through seven prefecture-level cities and autonomous prefectures, including Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Baoshan City, lincang City, Pu 'er City and Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, and exits from Mengla County, becoming the border river between Laos and Myanmar, with a total length of 12 16 km.

Lancang River is a typical southward river. As the river flows from north to south, it passes through almost all natural landscapes and climate types in the world except Gobi and desert.
