Workflow of self-cleaning filter

Detailed workflow of the filter: sewage enters the inlet (1), where it enters the center (2) of the fine mesh, and then the sewage comes out from the inside through the fine mesh and enters the outlet (3). Excess solids gather on the inner surface of the fine mesh to form a filter cake, which filters finer particles and forms a pressure difference. Once the pressure drop reaches the preset level, the control system will start the cleaning cycle and close the optional control outlet valve (C.O.V.) (5) by opening the atmospheric discharge of the cleaning valve (4). Therefore, a pressure drop occurs in the hydraulic motor chamber and the assembled vacuum cleaner (6). The pressure drop forms a backwash flow, which absorbs the dust on the filter screen, similar to a vacuum cleaner. Backwash water passes through the nozzle (8) and the vacuum cleaner pipe before being discharged from the hole of the hydraulic motor (9). Water is removed, and a hydraulic motor rotates the dust collector, similar to a sprinkler. The pressure drop in the hydraulic motor chamber further forces the dust collector fittings to move axially (10) under the control of the hydraulic piston, which ensures that each link cleans the entire screen area.
