Thoughts on reading The Journey to the West
Let's not talk about Tang Priest's ability for the time being. All I know is that in order to be his apprentice, in addition to preparing a white horse, he has to work part-time as a porter, a bodyguard and a horse leader. He can only follow around and "advance" step by step by relying on his two soles. Because eating the Tang priest can turn white, it attracts monsters from all directions. They tried their best to eat the meat of Tang Priest. In order to protect the Tang Priest, the disciples worked hard. It doesn't matter if you bleed or get hurt. As long as the injury is appropriate, big brother knows it's worth it. However, this Tang Priest is a mortal, ignorant of transvestite and self-righteous. If you kill a monster, you can forget it without merit, but what you get in the end is a spell and a "home" notice.
But on second thought, yes, Tang Priest is at this level, so there is nothing he can do. The main responsibility is still on Tathagata and Guanyin-improper employment, or intentional improper employment, in order to increase the fate of Buddhist scriptures and contribute to the greatness of this cause. Of course, they have their reasons for doing so. First, the Tang Priest is a cautious man, who never causes trouble, and can carry out the orders given by the "superior" to the letter without doing anything behind his back. Two: The relationship between Tang Priest and Tathagata is extraordinary. Tang Priest was originally a Tathagata, but his second disciple, Jin, was degraded to a true spirit because he didn't know Buddhism, and was reborn in the east. After all, it is an old subordinate and an old relationship. Once he has successfully studied the scripture, he can make a positive result. How can such welfare be taken away by the monkey head and the pig head? Three: the Monkey King is stubborn and difficult to set up, so it's really worrying for him to learn from others. If he makes any more mistakes, I'm afraid even the Buddha can't help it. So we should use his skills and use the hooping spell, and Tang Priest will supervise and implement it to ensure foolproof. This will not only give the apprentice face, but also make the master meritorious. With the help of the Tang Priest, the Tathagata gained a reputation of being knowledgeable, discerning and obeying the rules, so he can live forever with this story.
Of course, on the other hand, it is impossible to travel to the West without Tang Priest, and only with Tang Priest can there be a "play". However, I hope that there will be less "Tang priest drama" on the big stage of life.
The Journey to the West is one of China's four classic novels. I have seen this TV play on TV before. My mother bought this book for me this summer vacation. Coupled with the vivid description by the author Wu Cheng'en, the vivid picture is lifelike. I seem to be in this colorful world of ghosts and gods. With rich and bold artistic imagination, the author tells readers about Tang Priest, the Monkey King,
Pig Bajie and Friar Sand went through difficulties and obstacles along the way and experienced eighty-one rare stories.
The Monkey King, the first hero in this article, is magical, brave, witty and humorous. Sometimes he is really a hero, but sometimes he is as naughty as a child and especially likes to listen to compliments. My mother said that I was a lot like him. But I don't think this is everyone's idea? The Monkey King is sometimes very pitiful. He can identify monsters, but his master Tang Priest is always merciful, regardless of gender. Under the provocation of Pig Bajie, he read a spell to punish him and even drove him away several times. I feel indignant every time I see this place. But when he heard that his master was in trouble, he always came to the rescue regardless of the past. I sometimes feel that our hearts are really mortal compared with him! Once my brother and I quarreled at chess. Maybe it was my brother's fault, but then he apologized to me, and I still kept it in my heart! I feel a little hot now.
Speaking of the second disciple, Pig Bajie, his greatest feature is gluttony, and sometimes he is "double-faced and triple-edged". He likes to speak ill of Wukong in front of master to gain credit. No wonder Wukong sometimes gives him a little pain. I think it's funniest here. I don't think anyone who has read this book will forget the plot of pig eight quit eating watermelon! But the description of Zhu Bajie is so real, sometimes like me, sometimes like him, that is, myself in life. Can you say whether he is good or bad? Compared with a monkey and a pig in the article, Friar Sand is much more ordinary, but it is this ordinary and hard-working attitude. Isn't perseverance a test? Finally, I would like to say a few words to their master Tang Yan: Although you are very kind, you are too focused on learning from the scriptures, lacking judgment on the difficulties of learning from the scriptures and the ability to distinguish right from wrong. If you are the leader of this era, you still need to learn.
So after reading this book, I was deeply attracted by the story, and I still feel unfinished after reading it. The tortuous experience on the way to learn the scriptures and the bizarre experience of Tang Priest's master and apprentice made me deeply feel that if you want to fight against the bad guys, you must learn your skills well. I am now in the learning stage of "an inch of time and an inch of gold". Sometimes I don't concentrate in class and love to do small moves. How to do this? I'm a senior in the new semester, so I should reconsider. ...
Have you all seen Journey to the West? Which role do you like best? Some people like Tang Priest who doesn't love splendor, some people like greedy lazy pigs, and some people like hard-working sand monks. But my favorite is the Monkey King, who is brave and straightforward.
The bold and unreasonable little hairy monkey in The Journey to the West followed the master to learn from the Western Heaven, and then made a positive result. What impressed me the most was that the Monkey King made a scene in the sky.
He was originally a little hairy monkey, calling himself "Monkey King". Now, he wants to be a real "the Monkey King", so he goes to the Heavenly Palace to make a scene, overturning tables and smashing chairs into dust. The Monkey King said, "Turn me into a real the Monkey King, or you will know the consequences." Then the emperor named the Monkey King Bi Marvin. A few years later, the Monkey King realized that he was just an official the size of sesame seeds. I was so angry that I picked up the golden hoop and went to the heavenly palace. Seeing the Monkey King's behavior, I felt both gratified and excited. I am worried because his behavior is wrong. I am very excited that he has a brave heart. Then he went to the flat peach meeting, stole the flat peach and ate all the old man's elixir. Seeing this, I admire the Monkey King for doing whatever he wants, but I still want to be a good boy. Later, the Jade Emperor invited a lot of heavenly soldiers and generals, all to no avail. Finally, the Tathagata Buddha pinned him down at the foot of Wuzhishan. 500 years later, the Monkey King was saved by the Tang Priest. The Tang Priest accepted the Monkey King as an apprentice and went to the Western Heaven to learn Buddhist scriptures. They experienced 998 1 kinds of dangers and finally made a positive result.
From this book, I understand that a man should have courage, but not be too willful. Don't do whatever you want, make trouble without reason, be a good boy.
I have been growing up with Journey to the West, and finally picked up The Journey to the West, one of the four classical novels, this summer. Looking at it, I was deeply attracted by the description in the book, and I was deeply impressed by the tortuous plot and the bizarre experience of Tang priest and his disciples.
In the book, the author Luo Guanzhong describes the story that the Tang Priest, Master and Apprentice went through difficulties and obstacles, exorcised demons and experienced eighty-one rare scriptures.
Journey to the West shows people a colorful world of ghosts and gods, and people marvel at the author's rich and bold artistic imagination. Through the illusory world of ghosts and gods in Journey to the West, I also let us see the shadow of the real society.
My favorite is the Monkey King, who is a great hero in the Journey to the West. Because of his magical powers and superb skills, he succeeded in obtaining the true scriptures all the way to protect the Tang Priest and became a hero in my mind. Moreover, he has a rebellious mentality, and his brave spirit of fighting against powerful forces makes me appreciate it very much.
He has unlimited skills, fearlessness and indomitable spirit of resistance. He has the extraordinary bearing of a great hero, but he also has the disadvantage of listening to compliments. He is witty, brave and humorous. And his biggest feature is that he dares to fight. Dare to fight with the supreme jade emperor, just got a "monkey king" reputation; If you dare to hit a monster, you will never let go of a monster and show no mercy to the monster under the golden hoop; Dare to fight against all difficulties, never flinch or bow. His just, bold and unyielding fighting spirit and superb skills are the bane of monsters, and his fearless spirit of sweeping all monsters reflects the wishes and demands of the people. He represents the power of justice and shows the people's belief in overcoming all difficulties.
Although Tang Priest and his disciples lack the Monkey King's skill, Pig's interest, Friar Sand's diligence and white footwork, they are good in character, can recite scriptures, are not afraid of "chess pieces" and have firm beliefs. Although Friar Sand and Bai have no great skills, they are both diligent and hard-working, willing to be good logistics and not good at showing off.
Each character in the book has its own characteristics, which is in sharp contrast, so I have to admire the author's superb writing skills.
Although Bajie is lazy and sometimes timid, he loves his master Tang Priest so much. When everyone thought their master was dead, Bajie was heartless, but he cried with Wukong and Wuneng. Before, I always liked Bajie the least among the three apprentices. I thought he was lazy, flattering, complaining all day, and really incompetent. But watching the whole journey to the west, Bajie's position in my impression suddenly rose. Yes, he can eat eight steamed buns at a meal. He can't walk when he sees the goblin, but he will take care of Master when he protects him! Undeniably, in the whole The Journey to the West, Bajie is the most mythical figure with human nature. In this time, "Pig is sad and beautiful", it shows the personality of Pig who dares to love and hate. Sometimes I think about it, this silly pig is really likable!
Friar Sand should be the least noticeable one in the whole Journey to the West, but if he disappears, I believe people will feel something missing when watching TV! Indeed, he always has a beard, stays out of trouble and has no personality. He is neither as alert and brave as the Monkey King, nor as lazy as Zhu Bajie, but in people's impression, he is always carrying a faded worn-out pole, carrying all the luggage and walking silently at the end. No one seems to notice his existence, and even the occasional lines seem dispensable. He is too silent. In Journey to the West, the Monkey King and Zhu Bajie seem to have been bickering all the time, as if there were endless quarrels and arguments. However, I don't know if you have noticed that every time they quarrel, Friar Sand plays the role of "peacemaker", comforting "Big Brother" and "Second Brother" and sometimes comforting Master. Sometimes I can't help thinking.
Their master, Tang Yan, is such an amiable person. It seems to represent an ideal state. Some people think he is timid, but I think he represents the best and the best. To tell the truth, I always thought that the Monkey King was the protagonist of the whole fairy tale before I saw the whole Journey to the West. Think about it, from the first time, the director first let the audience know the life story of the Monkey King, and then in two or three times, he only talked about how the Monkey King made a scene in the sky and so on. It was not until the Monkey King was pinned down by the Tathagata at the foot of Wuxing Mountain that the Tang Priest, the master who saved him, appeared, and then figures such as Pig Bajie and Friar Sand appeared one after another. Now, I think the Tang Priest and his disciples are the central figures of the whole story and the soul. The previous rendering of the Monkey King was all paving the way. Indeed, if there were no Tang Priest, there would be no such thing as learning from the scriptures. For example, Journey to the West is like a bowl of sparerib soup, like Wukong, Wukong and Wuneng, all ingredients of this soup, and Tang Priest is the essence of this soup-ribs. Without ribs, even if the ingredients are delicious and the disciples are sensible, they are all like trees without roots, naked and as if they have lost their souls. It is because of the persistence of Tang Priest that this group was able to overcome all difficulties, obtain the true scriptures and reach the most perfect ending.
Journey to the West is truly a classic handed down from ancient times, and it is also one of China's four classical novels. It reveals the goodness, evil, beauty and ugliness in society with fairy tales. I think it is really beneficial to read such cultural treasures and understand the traditional culture of China during this holiday!
