How to connect the leakage protector wire of water heater?

There are two connection modes (two-phase electricity) for the leakage protector circuit of water heater, which should be replaced according to the original circuit of water heater.

First of all, it is a three-wire leakage protector:

The live wire-the brown wire connected to the leakage protector-corresponds to the L terminal on the water heater;

The zero line-the blue line on the leakage protector-corresponds to the N terminal on the water heater;

The grounding wire-the yellow-green double-color wire connected to the leakage protector-corresponds to the PE terminal on the water heater.

The connection mode is shown in the following figure:

Second, it is a four-wire leakage protector:

The live wire-the brown wire connected to the leakage protector-corresponds to the L terminal on the water heater;

The zero line-the blue line connected to the leakage protector-corresponds to the N terminal on the water heater;

Ground wire-the yellow-green double-color wire connected to the leakage protector-corresponds to the PE terminal on the water heater;

The temperature control line-the black line is connected with the temperature control line of the leakage protector-corresponds to the ST terminal on the water heater.

Note: Three-phase electric water heaters also have four or five wires, but the wiring is different from the above. Its biggest feature is that it has no plug. A line has four or five lines, namely yellow line (a), green line (b), red line (c), blue line or black line (n) and yellow-green double-color line (PE).
