1) Learning-centered

It can be said that "designing teaching for learning" is the basic premise of teaching design, and violating this premise is the wrong teaching design. Traditional teaching design and information teaching design are both "teaching design", so they are both "learning-centered".
2) Rich learning resources
With the development of Internet and multimedia technology, a large number of various forms of learning resources have been accumulated on the Internet at present, which can be said to reflect the good external environment of contemporary education. Rich learning resources provide support for teaching, as well as the selection of teaching materials and the design of teaching strategies. But rich learning resources do not necessarily mean high-quality teaching design. In the actual classroom teaching design, the richer the resources, the better. The selection and design of resources should be based on the characteristics, needs and learning objectives of learners. If too many resources are used in a limited time, which exceeds the cognitive load of students, it will cause students' cognitive burden, which violates the fundamental principle of "learning-centered" teaching design. Therefore, rich learning resources can only be used as the difference between traditional education environment and information education environment, but not as the difference between traditional teaching design and information education design. The spirit of instructional design is consistent, teaching is designed for learning, and learning resources are selected and designed for learning.
3) Emphasize task-driven learning, problem-solving learning and collaborative learning.
Since the beginning of the new century, education in all countries has attached great importance to the cultivation of cooperative spirit and innovative spirit, which is reflected in learning methods, that is, emphasizing task-driven learning, problem-solving learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning. Therefore, these learning methods can't be realized by information-based teaching, so they are not the characteristics that distinguish information-based teaching design from traditional teaching design. In addition, the fundamental purpose of instructional design is to "design teaching for learning", so it is required to design teaching strategies and learning methods around learning objectives, rather than simply changing learning methods.
4) Pay attention to the evaluation of learning process and learning resources.
Instructional design always pays attention to the evaluation of learning process, especially formative evaluation. Formative evaluation is the feedback of learning results in the teaching process, and teaching modification is carried out according to these feedbacks. Evaluation methods can be interviews, questionnaires, tests, portfolios, etc. All these can get the information of the learning process, so it is also an evaluation of the learning process. The evaluation of teaching design results includes the evaluation of learning resources. Whether the selection and design of learning resources are reasonable will certainly affect the teaching effect, so it is a part of the evaluation of teaching design results. It can be seen that attaching importance to the evaluation of learning process and learning resources is not the characteristic that information-based instructional design differs from traditional instructional design.
Therefore, I don't agree with the so-called "information teaching design". Education can be informationized because of the change of educational environment. Instructional design regards teaching as a system, with an open attitude, only "appropriateness" and "matching", not "modernity" and "backwardness". There is only one purpose of teaching design: "designing teaching for learning", and this purpose has never changed.
