What are the forms of drug price management in China? What are their pricing principles?

China's drug price management in the form of: government pricing, government-guided price and market-adjusted price three forms.

In accordance with the law to implement the market-regulated price of drugs, the government price authorities should be in accordance with the "Chinese people's *** and the State Price Law," the principle of pricing, based on the average cost of the community, the market supply and demand situation and the ability of the community to reasonably set and adjust the price, so that the quality of the price is consistent with the elimination of the inflated prices, and to protect the legitimate interests of the users of the drugs.

According to Article 56 of the Drug Administration Law, for drugs with market-adjusted prices, manufacturers, operators and medical institutions shall set prices in accordance with the principles of fairness, reasonableness, honesty and trustworthiness, and consistency between quality and price, so as to provide reasonably-priced drugs to users.
