How to make douchi

Preparation materials: soybeans, salt, soy sauce, Chili noodles and pepper noodles.

1, first of all, we soak soybeans in water for about 7 to 8 hours, which means soaking them for one night.

2. Then wash it and drain it with a sieve, as shown in the figure below.

3. Add enough water in a big aluminum pot at one time, then add the soaked soybeans, boil them on high fire, and then turn to low fire for about 5 hours until cooked.

Pick up the cooked beans, put them in a sealed box and ferment them in a warm place for two days. Fermented beans are sticky enough to be pulled out and then seasoned.

5, then stir well, put it in a jar for half a month and you can eat it, or you can stir well and dry it for two days before canning.
