In 438 years ago, Duke Ai of Jin died, and Duke You of Jin took the throne. Han, Zhao and Wei divided up the remaining land of Jin, leaving only Jiang Jiang (present-day Yuncheng City) and Quwo (Linfen City, Shanxi Province) to Duke Yu of Jin. From then on, Han, Zhao and Wei were called the Three Jin.
In 376 BC, Han, Zhao and Wei abolished Duke Jing of Jin and moved to Duanshi (present-day Qingshui County, Jin City). They divided all the remaining land of Jin's office. Therefore, the three kingdoms of Han, Zhao and Wei were also known as the "Three Jin".
In 375 BC, Han, Zhao and Wei divided up the remaining land of the Marquis of Jin, and the state of Jin was completely destroyed.
