Generally speaking, avalokitesvara statues with thousands of hands range from a few to dozens to show avalokitesvara's thirty-two disguised forms and forty-eight wishes, and all other hands are shown in the form of backlight to achieve the meaning of "thousand". However, ancient Chinese artists created 1007 thousand-handed Guanyin here, which is known as "the wonder of the world". Statues criss-cross, overlapping, opposite inheritance, patchwork. On the 88-square-meter cliff, these hands are slender, changeable and resplendent, forming a gorgeous picture like proud as a peacock, dazzling and dazzling. All kinds of instruments held by Guanyin with thousands of hands have an eye on each hand, which symbolizes the world view of saving suffering. Avalokitesvara with a thousand hands is very common in Buddhist statues in China, but it is rare to find avalokitesvara with a thousand hands carved in three dimensions. It is difficult to draw a hand when drawing a person. It's not easy to draw 100 hands with different shapes, let alone carve 1000 hands on a hard rock wall, and none of them have the same posture. None of them were broken at that time. This is amazing. Therefore, this Guanyin statue with thousands of hands and eyes is known as "the treasure of world stone carving art"
