The author used to be a magistrate in Qiongzhou, Sichuan, and a Yinfeng Pavilion was built in the former site of Zhuo Wenjun Cosmetic Building. Yinfengge Zaju got its name from this. The book includes 32 single-fold short plays, and the total name is Yinfengge Zaju. Each play is 10% off, and each play is an independent story. A small preface is added before the play to explain the creative intention. Each play has only one scene and two or three characters, which is similar to the later one-act plays. The content is mostly based on history or myth. Through imagination, it is far from near-finger, praising and belittling beauty, with novel conception, concise plot and strong artistic appeal. However, the stage of the play is not enough, and it is more suitable for reading than performing. There is the original engraving in the 29th year of Qianlong (1764), and the newly printed proofreading edition by Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House (1983).
The Banquet of Kunqu Opera is selected from the original 29% discount Banquet of Koulaigong (Northern Song) and Integrated Music Score. Kou Zhun, Prime Minister of Northern Song Dynasty, is going to hold a grand banquet for his birthday in Xiangzhou. Liu Po, the maid who served her mother in her early years, came to reminisce about Kou Zhun's thrifty mother-in-law and the hardships of her childhood life, which made Kou Zhun regret extravagance and waste and cancelled the birthday party.
