What the palm lines in the hand represent

Ancient physiognomy corresponds to the three talents of Heaven, Earth and Man, and labeled the three main lines in the palm of the hand as the Heavenly Line, the Earthly Line and the Human Line. The heavenly line is the modern emotional line; the human line is the wisdom line; and the earthly line is the life line. The "Sancai lines" in "The Divine Sangha" has this to say about the three lines: "The Sancai lines are the three major lines in the palm, everyone has them, they are formed in the mother's womb, and they are made from the fist and ears, which is very hard work. From top to bottom, the first line in the fire, for the pattern of heaven, the main foundation; the second line in the earth, for the pattern of the earth, the main wealth and fortune; the third line in the Mingtang, for the pattern of people, the main blessings."

The Life line

Starts midway between the thumb and forefinger and spreads in an arc along the fleshy mound at the base of the thumb. It reflects a person's health and life expectancy. It should be noted that the length of the Life line itself is not directly related to the length of life expectancy.

The Head line

runs diagonally across the palm from the middle of the thumb and forefinger, reflecting a person's character, talent and thinking ability. If the end of the Head line extends upward, it indicates that he or she is a realist, and if it extends downward, it indicates that he or she is an idealist.

The Heart line

Extends from the root of the little finger to the root of the middle finger and ring finger, reflecting a person's emotional response to lovers, relatives and friends, as well as revealing certain information about marriage.

The San Cai line is a good or bad sign

The San Cai line is sharp and unbroken, which indicates good fortune and prosperity. If the San Cai line has a lot of longitudinal lines and is messy, then it is prone to disasters, and if it has a lot of transverse lines, then it is stupid.

Some other important lines.

Besides the above three lines, there are also some other lines that are very important and reflect many aspects of a person's fortune. These lines are not present in everyone, but only appear and disappear under certain circumstances, serving as a warning.

Life line: reflecting career development and the general ups and downs of life.

Success line: reflects fame and fortune and how others perceive you.

Marriage line: reflects marriage and love.

Health line: reflects health condition.

Fortune line: reflects wealth.
