Measuring tools commonly used in work

Measuring tools commonly used in work are mainly related to the nature of work. Take locksmith as an example. The commonly used gauges in fitter's work include steel ruler, caliper, vernier caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, caliper gauge, plug gauge, protractor, level gauge, plug gauge, sample level gauge, etc.

Let's take a look at the commonly used measuring tools in drilling construction, such as measuring drilling tools, measuring drill bits, reamer sizes and other measuring purposes. The accuracy of measuring tool quality is directly related to the authenticity and accuracy of recording work. Therefore, it is very necessary to choose and use measuring tools correctly.

(1) Types of measuring tools

The measuring tools used in airport drilling mainly include steel ruler, steel tape, vernier caliper, internal and external caliper, etc.

(2) The use of common measuring tools:

1. steel rule

The main purpose of the steel ruler is to measure workpieces with smaller length. There are six specifications: 150mm, 300mm, 500mm, 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm * *.

2. Steel tape measure

The main purpose of steel tape measure is to measure long workpieces. There are three kinds of small steel tape measures: 1m, 2m, 3.5m * * * There are seven kinds of large steel tape measures: 5m, 10m, 15m, 20m, 30m, 50m,100m * * 7 *.

3. The use of vernier caliper

Vernier calipers are indicating measuring tools (Figure 3-4). It can directly measure the external dimension, internal dimension and depth dimension of the workpiece. The vernier caliper has three readings: 0.02mm, 0.05mm and 0. 1 mm, and their total errors are 0.02 mm, 0.05 mm and 0. 1mm respectively. Therefore, it is a measuring tool suitable for measuring medium precision dimensions.
