According to the Records of Pingnan County, which was revised by Shen Zongliang in the 17th year of Qianlong (1752), "On the first day of the New Year's Day, ancestors were worshipped, gongs were sounded and firecrackers were set off, and county people performed plays to celebrate". According to "Pingnan County Records" edited by Shen Zhongxiu, a magistrate of a county in the fifth year of Qianlong (1740), "The milk palace at the top of the mountain is on the Dongshan Mountain outside the east gate of the city. Once upon a time, there was a filial daughter who filed a lawsuit for her father's injustice, or the cloud god wore a surname, and people in the city performed a play on the first day of June to celebrate. " At this point, Longtan "Siping Opera" Troupe officially went to the folk.

During the period from Jiaqing to Daoguang and Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, people in Longtan Village successively formed "Siping Opera" troupes such as "Old Xiangyun", "New Xiangyun" and "Sai Xiangyun". During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, Gong Shenghuang specially took his children from Shuangxi Town, where the old city was located, and walked dozens of miles over the mountains to Longtan Village to watch a play, leaving a poem entitled "A play in Longtan Village is presented to Chen Taochuan and maocai": "When we arrive at the gate, the streams are gurgling and the mountains are surrounded by a couch. Good scenery should stop at first sight to help people meet. There was a feast of chicken and millet, and Xie Chai's dancing skirt stunned Xiaoman. I'm so happy. I learned to sing a sword ring on my way home. " It can be seen that the singing and performance of "Siping Opera" are very distinctive and fascinating. "Siping Opera" has been handed down from generation to generation and still retains its original essence. Siping Opera, a valuable cultural heritage, has also been attached importance by the state, and has applied for the world intangible cultural heritage.
