Banana oil, also known as diluent, is a colorless, transparent and volatile liquid with a strong banana flavor. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in various organic solvents, flammable, mainly used as solvent and diluent for paint. Banana oil is also used as a solvent in the production of many chemical products, coatings and adhesives.
