What's the difference between liberalism and conservatism in America?

Liberalism and conservatism in the United States are actually some differences in political stance and personal ideology, and there is no absolute good or bad. It's just that the two theories will have different advantages and disadvantages in different environments, and there are three main differences in general.

First, the pursuit of different.

Liberalism hopes that the social system can give them full freedom, while conservatism hopes to make steady progress. They hope that social change can be smooth, and would rather not make great progress than take any risks. Liberalism tends to be stronger. Too much freedom will make governance difficult, and the balance of rights will make it difficult to implement some measures. Conservatism is sometimes too stable and society will not change greatly.

Second, the concept is different.

Liberalism wants everyone's rights to be free, and everyone is free, and individuals will not be limited by their backgrounds, while conservatism wants to balance everyone's rights in a peaceful way. Liberalism and conservatism have their own advantages and disadvantages.
