Form of magnetic separator

The magnetic separator is mainly used to separate the iron chips from the iron chips in the grinding process, and the iron chips in the cutting fluid are adsorbed to achieve the purpose of separation and purification.

There are two kinds of magnetic separators, one is rubber roller magnetic separator, and the other is comb magnetic separator. These two kinds of magnetic separators have remarkable effects in different fields.

There are only two kinds of crumbs from the pulverizer, one is iron scrap powder and the other is grinding wheel powder, so if only paper tape is used for filtration, the filtration effect can be achieved completely, and the filtration accuracy is generally about 25-30 microns.

The non-woven fabric on the filter screen can isolate almost all impurities, thus achieving the effect of filtration and purification. This is what we are talking about in terms of filtering. However, paper tape filters rely on non-woven fabrics for filtration. The non-woven fabric used for this filter is a consumable, so let's look at it from the aspect of consumables.

If a magnetic separator is added before the grinding fluid enters the paper tape filter, the magnetic separator can absorb 60% iron powder and a small amount of grinding wheel powder in the grinding fluid by ferrite magnets, and these absorbed impurities will be directly hanged by the scraper of the magnetic separator, so that the impurities contained in the grinding fluid filtered by the paper tape filter are greatly reduced, and the consumption of non-woven fabrics is also greatly reduced. Generally, it takes about 1 month for a grinder without a magnetic separator to consume a roll of non-woven fabric, while it takes about 3-5 months for a filter with a magnetic separator to consume non-woven fabric (of course, it also depends on the fineness and impurity content of the workpiece processed by the grinder). In addition, magnetic separators have no consumables and long service life, so many machine tool factories prefer to choose magnetic separators.
