What's good to eat in Tokyo?

In fact, there's a lot of food in Tokyo, so today Border Shaw will tell you about Tokyo food and food recommendations. You can get this one based on plaid preferences, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with Bianshao's recommendations.

Three Meals

Our three meals were basically meal based. We only ate at McDonald's once, and then both were the type to get hungry soon after eating noodles, so we didn't get the famous ramen or soba noodles. Ha~

Generally we eat triangular rice balls in the morning, which can be bought at convenience stores. Lunch and dinner are basically sushi or Yoshinoya or suki gaiwan bought at the supermarket~ affordable and convenient~

Yoshinoya, a well known store. The most recommended is their taro rice~

The first time I thought of eating taro rice, I suddenly remembered that the girl from Late Night Diner seems to like taro rice the most. Since she had it, I wanted to try it too~ I tried it once and fell in love~ haha

It's Yoshinoya's salmon and beef combo, which is also great. Yummy~

The best part of every restaurant is the miso soup. After so many days of drinking it, I even had the urge to buy a bottle of miso. Finally gave up because I can't cook.

On the way to shopping, we also found a local chain restaurant. Not sure how to translate it. Let's just call it Suki for now. Their covered rice tastes great and the number of stores is pretty good, so it's easy to find.

Recommend their raw egg and fatty beef rice. The fatty beef under the egg is tender as hell~

Another thing that is often used for lunch or dinner is sushi~

Really, it's too expensive to eat freshly made sushi at the store, and probably a waste of time to wait in line.

We like to go to big supermarkets or food markets to buy sushi, it's cheap, fresh and tasty~

This is part of our first lunch in Japan, which was bought at Shinkin Market in Tsukiji Market. There was sea urchin sushi~

About drinking

I love wine, so I truly recommend Ice Knot and Plum Wine~

It's available at supermarkets and convenience stores~

Tender-looking babies, remember to bring your passports with you to show that you're old enough to buy wine~

These two Plum Wines are especially recommended, and they are more suitable for girls. They taste nice and mellow.

I've heard that Japanese girls also like plum wine and sometimes drink it with soda water. I haven't tried it yet.

Other Snacks

Let's start with something normal~

Remember whose favorite this is~

Tasted it and it tastes really good. No wonder Xiao Xin likes it so much. You can buy it at the supermarket.

This one is also quite recommended. It is a kind of ice cream. When you open it, the inside is the size of fudge and the outside is the ice shell. The flavor inside is sweet and the fresh pulp is frozen. It's nice to buy peaches.

This is a matcha-flavored tonkatsu bought at Kamakura Komatsu. It has a higher main face value. The girl in the store also has a higher face value.

And it's cheap, and the flavor can't be said to be particularly good, but it's still good for filling up. Eat a little like our sticky rice cake here, ha~

This is also bought in Kamakura, Kamakura, red bean flavor. Great flavor and especially good for photos.

The store is located on the road directly across from the entrance to Hachimangu Shrine. Remember, it's on the right. It's a small store. Don't miss it.

This is also truly recommended. This momo is the one we bought at Hachiman Endurance. The price difference between the expensive and cheap peaches in the scenic area is huge, and we didn't dare to buy the expensive ones, thinking that we'd lose out if they weren't good.

I happen to be sharp-eyed. I saw an uncle selling ripe peaches, unattractive and cheap.

Buy and eat, is also considered to be the most delicious peach I have eaten so far ~ regret did not buy more.

Very watery and sweet~Peach-loving babies see it and don't miss it~

More fun~

Honestly recommend the Daeyungu black eggs. I love eggs and ate four of them in one sitting~haha

The shells are all black, but the inside is still white and tender. Even LG, who usually doesn't like eggs, said it was delicious~

I was going to go to Otsuka on my last day back to Tokyo to buy them again. I didn't get it because of the heavy rain. Alas, it's a pity.

Usually when you buy it, the merchant will give you a few packets of salt to go with it~it tastes good without the salt~

The second one is the corn-flavored ice-cream that I ate at the Fuji area's Fuyue Ice Cave.

Looks normal, tastes salty. Haha, good thing I got a two-color ice cream. I can't even imagine the taste of the whole ice cream in salty corn flavor~ If you're interested, you can try it.

Review

Daikoku Bean Fresh Pepper Cake:

This Fresh Pepper Cake was the check-in snack provided when we stayed at Nishimura House. The building loved it when we ate it and we made sure to get it when we left. If you love Wanted Fresh Pepper, you can't go wrong with it! It tasted thick and crunchy with the flavor of black beans in it. It's not as heavy as the salty MSG of Want Want Fresh Pepper, it's a natural fresh pepper flavor. Generally it's the black bean flavored Japanese Want Want Fresh Peel that's not as salty and crunchy ~ hahaha.

Recommendation index: loved it, will buy again when I go.

Because I really like Want Want Fresh Peel and Want Want Snow Cake QAQ~

Pine Crab Cuttlefish Mixed Fries:

This pack is made up of two colors of crispy chips, the white ones are crab flavored, and the brown ones are cuttlefish flavored. The white crab chips were still nice and crunchy. Still, no MSG flavor, just simply delicious and crunchy. But the cuttlefish flakes I couldn't hold. It had an amazing flavor. Sweet, salty and fresh mixed together, but not the sweetness of Japanese cuttlefish flakes. It's salty and fresh with a hint of sweetness. I'm always a little uncomfortable with it. I guess it's not the same as the synthetic puffed foods in China. These are filled with real cuttlefish and crab, so the flavor will be richer.

Recommendation index: a worthwhile Japanese flavor that I like.

Hmmm. Next time I go, I should get the individual crab slices. If I don't like the shrimp or crab slices, I can skip it~

But the beef slices:

Well, to be honest, it's pitiful. The package can't see what's inside, and there's no tasting on the outside. I saw some real beef on it and the package was light so I bought it. When I got home and opened it up, it was round white pieces. I thought it would be diced beef . Mulberry hearts . It tasted stupid and salty. You have to drink water after eating a few pieces. You can't eat anything but beef . Stick it on the line .

Recommendation index: uh, too pitiful! What a mess!

Well, these are the specialties I bought at Joshibi Hot Springs~ LL didn't buy a lot of specialties because Joshibi is the first stop, and there's a lot of running around behind it, but there's a lot of choices at the specialty stores as well. If you arrange the last few stops, you can go to the store to see and try more. Usually some will offer to try and try to buy diced beef! Hahaha~

Kyoto, a paradise of fruits and matcha.

Katsuhachibashi, rice cakes, matcha, and all kinds of fruits are the best choices~

Baqiao, also known as Baqiao Cake, is a Japanese snack made of rice flour, sugar, and cinnamon. It is the most representative specialty of Kyoto, Japan.

At present, Japanese companies mainly sell baqiao. In addition to Hachibashiya in Nishio and Hachibashi General Store in Matsugaya, there is also a Matsugaya General Store in Sacred Light Hall.

If I were to use a grounded description of Katsu Hachibashi, it would be to say that the dough is wrapped in a red bean filling (cover your mouth and laugh), but the dough is very crystalline, soft, sticky and firm. According to the product description, the dough is made by carefully grinding white rice into rice flour using graphite. Maybe it's the graphite, so the dough itself is still quite fragrant. The red bean inside is indeed incomparable to normal red bean filling, delicate and sweet, and one bite is a super satisfying feeling. Kazuo's extreme pursuit of red beans seems to have persisted. This raw hayashi is made from red beans from Hokkaido, cooked in the delicious water of Fukui Prefecture. It can be described as a Kazuo of exquisite origin and craftsmanship.

Specific flavor assessment:

Healthy Bridge Daily Edition:

Recommendation index: okay. One taste is enough.

When the pre-launch St. Patty's Bridge was launched, Lou Lou mentioned that it had a cinnamon aroma in it, and I'm really not used to the taste of cinnamon, so this daily version of St. Patty's Bridge is actually the most authentic St. Patty's Bridge, with a light cinnamon aroma and a lot of character. Lou felt uncomfortable using it, but it was worth trying it early.

Healthy Bridge Summer Special Edition:

Recommendation index: loved it, will buy it again when I go.

Summer special edition is very refreshing in texture and flavor. Really perfect for summer. There is no very strong cinnamon flavor and the dough and red beans are lighter. All in all it was very much to Lou's taste. If I have a chance to go to Kyoto in the summer, I will buy it again.

Wakame is usually sweet because in Japan it is not enjoyed on its own, but with a cup of slightly bitter matcha tea, one bite of wakame, one bite of matcha, complementing each other.

Moiren Cake

Delicate annual cakes have always been a Japanese specialty, and Kyoto is a matcha variety, so I also chose the delicate, layered matcha annual cake for my entrance. The only downside is that it's a little too sweet. Lou Lou doesn't really like very sweet things. Recommended for those with a sweet tooth!

Recommendation index: okay. One taste is enough.

Hard or too sweet, the shelf life is very short, 3 or 5 days, it is recommended that more than one person to share it ~

Mori Ting Keijia Matcha Cake

It is very soft, with the flavor of thick layer cake, refreshingly not too sweet, and the matcha tea is strong but not bitter. Mori is one of the larger Japanese companies that do matcha, and their family specializes in travel and gift products, so overall it feels like the matcha is slightly modified. Matcha is not as bitter as the local matcha, some products can be divided into strong matcha and regular matcha, for tasting new things have obstacles to the baby is a good choice ~

Yes, it is worth a try Japanese flavor.

Matcha Sandwich Crackers

This Matcha Sandwich Crackers is Lou Lou's favorite among all the above Matcha products! It's really delicious! Crispy matcha, rich texture, filling is not greasy, feel the crunchy shell neutralizes the sweet and greasy feeling, even ate a few pieces and remembered to take pictures ~ haha

Recommendation index: very much like it, go and will buy again.

This product seems to be the number one selling product in the store! Getting rave reviews from foodies? Haha~

I bought these specialties in the center of Beijing. It's worth mentioning that I bought all these specialties from the same store. The exact address is shown in the picture: a very convenient place, diagonally across from Sakaguchi Shrine. The store will be very thoughtful in labeling the best sellers, so you can't go wrong if you buy them~
