Where is Gao Peizhi's former residence?

Gao Peizhi's former residence is a cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province.

Xi 'an Xinglong Lane No.42 is the former residence of Gao Peizhi. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, Gaojia Courtyard is one of the most intact residential courtyards in Xi 'an, and has been approved as a provincial and municipal cultural relics protection unit. Gao Peizhi (188 1 ~ 1960), a famous playwright and educator, founded Xian Yi Sushe in 19 12, and was the president of Yi Sushe for four times. After liberation, he took the lead in handing over Yi Sushe to the state. Gaojia Courtyard is the former residence of Mr. Gao Peizhi, which was built in Qing Dynasty. Due to the preservation of the simple and traditional residential architectural style, after a hundred years of vicissitudes, Gaojia Courtyard, as the only residential courtyard in our city, has been completely preserved, and was established as a municipal cultural relics protection unit by the municipal government in February 20001year. In 2003, it was promoted to provincial cultural relics protection unit.

The former residence covers an area of 450 square meters and faces south. From south to north, there are concierge, wing, lobby, brick-carved gatehouse, wing and building in turn. It is a standard residence with two rooms and one living room in Guanzhong. Among them, the brick gate house has a main entrance and two left and right ear doors. The middle door is engraved with the words "Ping is a blessing", and the ear door hole is engraved with the words "Bamboo Cang" and "Songmao". There is a well in the west corner of the yard. Although the water is clear and salty. There are two plaques in the hall, namely "Re-thinking" and "Filial Piety". The latter was written by Xu Shichang, the fourth president of the Republic of China, with an honorary seal, which shows Gao Peizhi's social status. East of the hall is the study, which contains the collections of famous people such as Gao, Yu Youren, Song Bolu and Kouya. Gao Gao 1960 died in his former residence at the age of 79. Gao Yisheng wrote more than 50 kinds of operas, among which synopsis of the golden chamber is still flourishing. The Xi incident, the legend of Cixi's tomb robbery, the passionate years, the knights of Guanzhong, how far is it forever, and the rescue of juvenile offenders and female prisoners have all been filmed here. Mr. Bai Lin, an architectural research expert from Kyoto University in Japan, and a pier research expert from Japan made a special trip here.

Gao Peizhi has contacts with many famous literati and celebrities. 1923 Lu Xun watched "Double Brocade" founded by Mr. Gao and others, which was well received five times in a row. 1938, the 18th Army Field Service Corps headed by Ding Ling performed in the theater, and Mr. Wang presented a set of boxes. Since then, the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region has had the first complete set of costumes. Ding Ling published Yi Sushe and Northwest Field Service Corps in People's Daily 1982 to commemorate her past.

Gao Peizhi (188 1- 1960) is a native of Fuping County. Graduated from Shaanxi University in the late Qing Dynasty. Union member. He has served as a representative of the Unified Phonetic Association of the Ministry of Education, director of the Shaanxi Provincial Demonstration Lecture Hall, director of the Shanxi Provincial Library, consultant of the General Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Government, and consultant of the Shaanxi Provincial Education Department. He was awarded the "Fourth-class Golden Spike" and "Second-class Golden Spike" in the Republic of China. After the May 4th Movement, he worked as a language and Chinese teacher and lecturer in Xi 'an Teachers College, Xi 'an Teachers College and Xi 'an Business School. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he was appointed as the Northwest Military and Political Advanced Training Department.
