What do you mean by hitting a cow?
1. Shooting cattle is a folk festival of Miao people. Also known as bullfighting.
2. It originated from ancestor worship. Popular in Longli, Zhengqi and Ding Fan (now Huishui) in Guizhou. Sacrifices are held in September and October of the lunar calendar. The date of the memorial ceremony was decided by the elders, and then the wood carvings were sent to various villages.
3. What do Wuhan people say? Bullfighter? Refers to those who have no proper jobs in society and live by swindlers, which are equivalent to gangsters, boring people, hooligans and so on.
