Experts' Analysis of Rock Paintings in Rabbit Mountain
Li Xueqin said that there are four common criteria for judging whether a cultural relic belongs to civilization:
The first is to have cities, which are human civilization. The second is to have words. Words are civilization, and no words can only be said to be primitive barbarism. The third is a ceremonial building, that is, this building or person can live or be buried after death. These buildings are ceremonial, not as ordinary living quarters. The fourth is to have metal tools.
Therefore, writing is the most fundamental of civilization, and rock paintings are related to the origin of writing in a sense. In Peiligang culture, we can see the rock paintings of Juzi Mountain and the symbols depicting more than 6000 years BC, which must have a great relationship with the origin of Chinese civilization. The Yellow Emperor represents not only a historical period, but also the embryonic period of Chinese civilization, so it is called the ancestor of mankind. Humanism is civilization, so with the ancestor of humanism, we realize that the Yellow Emperor represents the crystallization of our ancestors' wisdom and ability.
I think the discovery of Tuzishan rock paintings is a good opportunity to understand the Yellow Emperor culture and the ancient traditional culture of China. I am glad to see that the title of this forum is "Confidence, Innovation and Revival". I believe that all of you here will be full of confidence and keep innovating, so that the culture of our motherland can be revived faster. I also firmly believe that through the discovery of Tuzishan rock paintings and more and more abundant discoveries in the future, more and more Chinese and foreign people will come to Xinzheng and Tuzishan in the future, because it is the center and birthplace of Chinese civilization and Huangdi culture, which will definitely bring new progress and prosperity to Xinzheng, Zhengzhou and Henan. Gong Tianfu (professor at Minzu University of China and director of China Rock Painting Research Center) thinks that the original artworks including rock paintings should all be related to primitive witchcraft, and the ancient people can say that they paid a huge social cost to make these props. In fact, rock paintings like Juzishan are the huge "Three Gorges Project" of ancient people.
Juzi rock paintings have added a bright spot to southern Henan, which is not only a topic in the press and cultural circles, but also a new national treasure dedicated by xinzheng city to the people of the whole country.
I haven't seen rock paintings in Utz Mountain for a long time, and my understanding is quite limited, so I can only ask some questions here, or give some ideas for your reference:
(1) Can it be considered that the rock paintings of Orange Mountain are not the product of a single cultural period, and their production time may be as long as thousands of years? Therefore, the rock paintings on Mount Utz should not be made by a single nation.
(2) It is not uncommon to concentrate rock paintings on a mountain in China. Can we think that, in the minds of rock painters of Mount Ruz, perhaps Mount Ruz should be a sacred mountain that can communicate with the sky? The characteristic of Juzishan rock paintings is that the graphics are basically parallel to the sky, while the rock paintings of other sites in China are basically perpendicular to the sky. Can you think that the paintings in the parallel sky are for people to see, and the paintings in the vertical sky are for people to see? Therefore, the content of Orange Mountain Rock Painting may be a dialogue with the sky.
(3) According to the types of rock paintings, there are a row of punctate caves in the middle period and square caves in the later period, including figures suspected of ancient Chinese characters. Because the dating of Juzishan rock paintings is definitely a big problem, but it does not hinder the classification and staging of Juzishan rock paintings. It is very necessary to divide the rock paintings of Juzishan into stages by layering method.
(4) From the cultural form of Juzi's rock paintings, there should be altar worship near the ruins of rock paintings, and they should be comprehensively studied as a whole culture. After four days of scientific research by more than a dozen experts from cultural relics research departments and institutions such as Northwest University and Shaanxi Institute of Archaeology, it is confirmed that Tuzishan rock paintings can be traced back to prehistoric times, and at the same time it is confirmed as a relatively complete large-scale ancient stone structure site group in the Central Plains.
Experts invited to Zhuzi Mountain in Xinzheng conducted scientific research on rock paintings. Since then, experts have gathered together to have a heated debate on the survey results, and come to the conclusion that the rock paintings of Juzi Mountain in Xinzheng can be traced back to prehistoric times.
In the process of scientific research on the rock paintings of Juzishan, experts found a * * * similarity, that is, from the comparative study of archaeological typology, the rock paintings of the caves on Juzishan in Xinzheng are very similar to similar rock paintings in the southeast coastal areas of China, especially with the rock paintings of Jiangjun Cliff and megalithic relics in Jiangsu.
Experts said that the next step will be to study the rock paintings in the Orange Cave in more detail to confirm the relative age of the rock paintings.
