Is lacquer painting a legacy?
Lacquer painting is an intangible cultural heritage. Lacquerware is rich in China national characteristics and has typical oriental artistic characteristics. On May 20th, 2006, the State Council officially confirmed that item 5 18 was selected into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list, and Yangzhou lacquerware decoration skill and Pingyao Tuiguang lacquerware decoration skill were included in it.
Later, it also included Jiangzhou lacquerware, Chufeng lacquerware, Huizhou lacquerware, Poyang lacquerware and other techniques, which reflected the traditional cultural form of lacquerware passed down from generation to generation and was highly recognized by the national intangible cultural heritage protection work. These lacquerware and lacquerware in other places can be collectively called "China lacquerware".
