Timing principle of watches
A timer uses the energy released by a heavy hammer or spring as power to drive a series of gears to run, adjusts the speed of the gear train through an escapement mechanism, and indicates the time and metering time with a pointer.
Working principle of electronic clock: the core of sensor is sensing element and piezoelectric timing chip. Its working principle is piezoelectric effect, that is, when the crystal is subjected to mechanical stress in some directions, it will produce electric dipole. On the contrary, if the voltage is applied in a certain direction, it will produce deformation in a specific direction. This phenomenon is called inverse piezoelectric effect.
Working principle of mechanical watch
Mechanical watches can usually be divided into two types: manual winding watches and automatic watches. The power source of these two machines is driven by the clockwork in the movement, which drives the gear and then pushes the watch hands, but the power source is different. Handmade mechanical watches are made by hand.
The thickness of the movement is thinner than that of ordinary self-winding watches, and the weight of the whole watch is also relatively light. Self-winding watches use the power generated by the swing of the automatic disk at the bottom of the movement to drive the spring to generate energy, but the relative thickness of the watch book will be thicker than that of ordinary manual winding watches.
