Fishing practice with dragnet

Catch-net fishing is a traditional fishing method, which is usually used to catch small oceans or freshwater fish. The following is the general practice of trawling:

1. Prepare a fishing net: Prepare a fishing net, usually made of fine barbed wire or nylon. The size of the net can be selected according to the specific needs and the size of the target fish.

2. Find a place suitable for fishing: Choose a water area suitable for fishing, usually a fishing ground in a river, lake or ocean.

3. Preparation for casting net: Open the fishing net, spread it in a certain area and keep the net open. Make sure that the net is flat and there are no crossed or twisted parts. A larger network may require the cooperation of many people.

4. Throw the net: In the prepared position, gently throw the unfolded fishing net into the water. Ensure that the entire network completely covers the target area.

5. Fix the net: Fix the four corners of the net on the shore, boat or other stable places with ropes or anchors, and keep the position of the net unchanged. This can avoid being taken away by the current or the activities of fish.

6. Waiting for the net: After a period of time, usually a few hours to a whole day, waiting for the fish to get into the net. Fish will be blocked by obstacles in the net, making it impossible to escape.

7. Catch the net for fishing: When the fish is roughly caught in the net, you can start to catch the net. Slowly close the net from one side to ensure that it will not damage the net or let the fish get away. In the process of netting, you can carefully put the caught fish into the netting container or constantly clean the net to catch more fish.

8. Dispose of the caught fish: Once fishing is completed, dispose of the caught fish. This includes slaughtering, cleaning, handling and preserving them.

It should be noted that the use of trawl fishing needs to comply with local fishery laws and regulations and the provisions on the protection of fish resources. Be sure to understand and abide by local laws and regulations before any fishing activities.
