Difference between refined vegetable oil and cold pressed vegetable oil
Different preparation methods.
There are two traditional cold pressing methods. One is to squeeze seeds, drupes or kernels by water pressure, which is suitable for soft seeds such as sesame seeds and sunflower seeds. Another kind of hard seed, such as safflower, needs a stronger oil press to squeeze plant raw materials, which may be squeezed repeatedly more than once. This process will produce a certain degree of heat energy, and the amount of oil available will be less, and the relative price will be higher.
The production of refined vegetable oil is usually inseparable from high temperature and the use of chemical additives.
