The difference between travel agencies and travel companies
Travel agency, commonly known in the tourism industry, is the abbreviation of "Travel Agency Co., Ltd.". The National Tourism Administration stipulates that the name of such enterprises providing tourism services for citizens must include the word "travel agency".
The travel company is the name of "Travel Agency Co., Ltd." commonly used by the industrial and commercial departments, because travel agencies are also limited companies, and they are all registered in the format of "XX Travel Agency Co., Ltd." when registering in the industrial and commercial departments.
There are also a small number of enterprises named "XX Travel Company". Such enterprises were generally established earlier, probably the product of the end of last century. At that time, the tourism management department and the industrial and commercial management department did not clearly regulate the names of such enterprises, so this phenomenon appeared. In the future, there will be no such name except special approval.
