After the establishment of the dynasty, Zheng Xin wrote to Emperor Qianlong in accordance with the custom of paying tribute since ancient times, hoping to bow to the Qing Dynasty for protection. The Qianlong period was the heyday of the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong was naturally happy to see that China had become the king of Siam, so he directly conferred the title of Zheng Xin as the king of Siam and gave him gold seal jewelry to show his orthodox position.

Emperor Zheng Xin was king in Thailand for 15 years, but he was old and weak in his later years, so he relaxed his vigilance against the people around him. So the Thai people staged a coup in Lu 'an, imprisoned Zheng Xin the Great and sat on the throne themselves.

Although Tong Luan obtained the throne through a coup, she did not get permission from the Qing Dynasty. According to the rules at that time, when a vassal state changed its throne, it needed to explain the reasons to its sovereign state. However, Tong Luan's throne was wrong, so he naturally dared not explain the reasons to the Qing Dynasty. At that time, the Qing Dynasty was still relatively strong. Just when Tong Luan was worried about this matter, one of his ministers came up with an idea and suggested that he write to Emperor Qianlong as Zheng Xin's son and request knighthood. Anyway, the sky is high and the emperor is far away in Siam, and the emperor Qianlong doesn't know whether it is true or not. Once Emperor Qianlong was canonized, his throne would be logical.

So he couldn't wait to send a special envoy to Emperor Qianlong and lied that he was Zheng Xin's son Hua Zheng. Because of the coup in China, Zheng Xin was killed and he succeeded to the throne. He wrote a letter asking Emperor Qianlong to grant him a title.

At that time, Emperor Qianlong was not the wise SHEN WOO. When he saw that this was Zheng Xin's son, he directly awarded the title. This Tong Luan is the ancestor of today's Thai royal family, and it is called Rama I in history. Since then, there has been a tradition in the Thai royal family that children should be given a China name as soon as they are born, and they should be reported to the Qing Dynasty when they ascend to the throne.
