Huawei doesn't build cars, and probably won't make the hardware of transportation facilities. What Huawei needs to do is to make cars and transportation facilities communicate with the "urban brain" in the cloud, and provide the ability of cloud information distribution, overall planning and scheduling. This reminds me of a chat with colleagues in BU department of Huawei's smart car solution a year ago. They mentioned that Huawei not only doesn't build cars, but also doesn't want to kill anyone. What Huawei wants to do is to complement each other. Commercial cloud/private cloud and powerful customized program solutions are the advantages of Huawei. HarmonyOS may not be ready yet, but now it must stand up, which is its original mission. On the technical level, HarmonyOS car OS provides customized development. On the basis of opening HOS (intelligent operating system) capabilities, it will open 5+? HMS (Huawei Mobile Service) API interface for vehicle version and 7 key cockpit capabilities including voice, vision and sound effects. HarmonyOS will focus on seven aspects: voice, sound effect, vision, HUD, interconnection, AI situational intelligence and OTA, and cooperate with many online service providers such as Gaode and Kuwo Music to build a software platform. In the concept of "car domain", HiCar should be one of the most anticipated functions of Huawei mobile phone users. Although mobile phone interconnection has existed for many years, it is still the threshold for mobile phones to expand into cars, and few people can do it well. What Huawei wants to do is to carry out in-depth experience optimization and function development for the car scene with its partner * * *, so as to make the application software "better and easier to use" in the travel scene.
