What are the treatment methods of hepatitis C?

At present, there are two main drug treatments for hepatitis C: one is the treatment scheme of polyethylene glycol and ribavirin, that is, the PR treatment scheme; There is also a direct antiviral drug, which is DAA therapy for non-structural proteins of hepatitis C (such as RNA polymerase).

Before the treatment of hepatitis C, it is recommended to carry out genotyping test of hepatitis C, especially in the PR scheme, genotyping test can determine different drug doses and different adjustment strategies in treatment!

In addition, both treatment schemes have corresponding contraindications, and the corresponding scheme can only be decided according to the actual situation; There are no contraindications related to DAAs in clinical research at present, except that some patients with decompensated cirrhosis are listed as contraindications in some reports in DAAs scheme. At present, there are no other drugs listed in China except Bai Zhuze and Suweipu of Bristol-Myers Squibb, so most of them are purchased abroad, which is relatively limited.

So to sum up: I suggest you choose DAAs first. If it is difficult to obtain, PR can be chosen as the first choice (contraindications should be excluded, which is more economical than using DAA directly). In the process of PR treatment, if you can't get a sustained virological response or can't tolerate it, you can choose DAAs as the first choice!
