Medical classification
What modern China people call "western medicine" usually refers to "the medical system of modern western countries" (that is, modern medicine). The medical system in modern western countries originated from modern western countries. It is a process in which scholars in modern western countries study the physiological and pathological phenomena of human body from the viewpoint of reductionism after denying and abandoning ancient Greek medicine.
A brand-new medical system based on anatomical physiology, histology and embryology, biochemistry and molecular biology has been developed. This brand-new medical system is what China people often call "western medicine". Modern western medicine is called "new medicine" in modern China, as opposed to "old medicine (traditional Chinese medicine)".
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) came into being in primitive society, and the theory of TCM has basically taken shape (Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period). Anatomy and medicine have branched and adopted "four diagnoses". Treatment methods include Bian Shi, acupuncture, decoction, moxibustion, guidance, gas distribution and desire. Since ancient times, there has been a saying that "medicine and Taoism are interlinked". This influence can be traced back to the classic work Huangdi Neijing of the Huang family.
Chinese medicine theory;
The theory of TCM comes from the summary of medical experience and China's ancient thought of Yin-Yang and Five Elements. Its contents include the theory of essence and qi, the theory of yin and yang and five elements, qi and blood, body fluid, viscera and meridians, constitution, etiology and pathogenesis, treatment principles, health preservation and so on. As early as more than two thousand years ago, the monograph Huangdi Neijing came out, which laid the foundation of traditional Chinese medicine.
Today, China's theories, diagnosis methods and treatment methods related to traditional medicine can be found in this book. The theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine is gradually formed under the guidance of materialism and dialectical thought in long-term clinical practice, which comes from practice and in turn guides practice. Through the analysis of the phenomenon, explore its internal mechanism.
Therefore, this unique theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine has two basic characteristics, one is the overall concept, and the other is syndrome differentiation and treatment. The basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine is a theoretical summary of human life activities and disease changes, which mainly includes the theories of yin and yang, five elements, qi and blood, body fluid, viscera, meridians and luck, as well as the theories of etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, syndrome differentiation, treatment, prevention and health preservation.
