After investigation, the mixed whisky of Phelan and Faria sold in a bar was mixed with methanol, which caused 22 people to feel unwell, and 4 of them were sent to ICU. At present, these two kinds of fake wines have been sold to Henan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other places.

1, fake wine is sold to many provinces.

Recently, an incident of methanol poisoning caused by drinking occurred in Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. After investigation, the wines were named "Feilang's Blended Whiskey" (the nominal producer was Penglai Weiyade Liquor Co., Ltd. and the nominal operator was Shenzhen Weiyade Liquor) and "Faria Blended Whiskey" (the nominal producer was Penglai Weiyade Liquor Co., Ltd. and the nominal operator was Huizhou Xie Yi Liquor), which were methanol blended products suspected of counterfeiting other companies. Initially, they were sold to Henan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other places.

China Food and Drug Administration deployed the food and drug administrations of Henan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guizhou and Yunnan to investigate and deal with the operators who bought counterfeit products according to law, and promptly handed over the suspected crimes to the public security organs to assist them in criminal investigation and control product risks; Bars and other operators who purchase and sell the above two products shall seal up on the spot, stop selling, find out the source of purchase and report to the local food and drug supervision and management department; Remind consumers to stop drinking the above two products, and report to the local food and drug supervision and administration department in time if they find that they are selling the above two products.

At 2: 39 a.m. the day before yesterday, the provincial US Food and Drug Administration received a telephone report from Heyuan US Food and Drug Administration, saying that during the period from1October 20 to 24, 165438, many people had symptoms such as physical discomfort after drinking in the Muse Bar in Heyuan City.

The US Food and Drug Administration attached great importance to it and immediately studied and deployed the investigation and disposal work. The main responsible comrades of the US Food and Drug Administration and the Provincial Food Safety Office gave instructions, requiring Heyuan Municipal Bureau to immediately carry out accident investigation and city-wide investigation, control suspected products, cooperate with public security organs to find out the source and destination of suspected products, prevent the spread of hazards, quickly organize and arrange sampling inspection, and find out the cause of the problem as soon as possible.

At noon the day before yesterday, the provincial bureau sent a special person to form a joint investigation team with the public security organs and rushed to Heyuan City to guide the investigation of the case and guide local organizations to carry out a safety inspection of the liquor sales and service industries.

According to the investigation, Muse Bar in Heyuan City holds a valid business license and food business license, and deals in three kinds of liquor 13, of which two kinds of liquor, namely "Phelan blended whisky" and "Faria blended whisky", cannot provide any bills and supplier licenses. After sampling the "Faria blended whisky" seized, it was found that it contained methanol, and it was preliminarily determined that the related products were fake wine. All the bar and label operators involved were seized.

Up to now, Heyuan People's Hospital has treated 22 patients with discomfort caused by the products involved, including 4 patients in ICU, and patients with mild symptoms 18 were hospitalized for observation, and no deaths occurred.

At present, the local public security organs have launched an investigation into the case.

2. How to distinguish fake wine?

1, observe the bottle type

Many famous wines have unique bottle types. Fake wine bottles are thick and thin, the packaging is outdated, there is no freshness, and the seal is not tight.

Step 2 observe the bottle mouth

The anti-theft cover and glass bottle mouth of regular famous wine are bitten neatly and regularly. The anti-theft cover of some fake wines can be twisted at will, and the bite with the bottle mouth is uneven. Some people will see that once the wine is inverted, it will leak. This is mostly because the producers of fake wine don't have formal capping equipment, or the lids don't match.

Step 3 observe trademarks

Pay attention to the production date, manufacturer and packaging of the purchased wine to prevent counterfeiting. Usually, the trademark printing of famous wines is standardized, the color registration is neat, and there will be no situation outside the printing edge. For example, glass bottles, factory date and shift number are generally printed on the back of the trademark, while the trademark printing of fake wine is very rough and the colors are aligned, so you can see that it is ambiguous when you look closely.

Step 4 look at the packaging

The paper cover packaging of acupuncture and moxibustion is not only beautifully printed, but also has no gaps at the edges, which is very neat and tight. Some bottle caps are also wrapped in plastic film, and the packaging is not soft when they are close together.

5. Anti-counterfeiting marks

Many famous wines will introduce anti-counterfeiting labels and use disposable wine bottles. This kind of wine bottle is a bit for direct customers to use once, so most counterfeiters can't use these wine bottles to make fakes again. The cost of launching a set of anti-counterfeiting labels is very high, and most counterfeiters will be discouraged.

Chinese hard liquor

Liquor is mostly colorless, and the sauce-flavor type can be yellowish. Some liquors are slightly turbid in winter and have white flocs, which are caused by higher fatty acids. White floc will dissolve after heating, and if it does not disappear, it may be caused by wine deterioration.

Oil will appear on the surface of fake wine, and hops will turn up densely and unevenly, which is caused by fusel oil precipitation, which may be fake wine.

The wine is discolored or turbid, some have a gray film on the surface or white material on the bottom of the bottle, which is mostly caused by crystallization of potassium hydrogen tartrate, and the quality of the wine is relatively poor.

9.beer

Beer is light yellow or reddish brown, clear and transparent, without turbidity and precipitation. If there are crystalline precipitates or white flocs, they are mostly caused by low temperature. If lumps are found, it means that the change of wine taste is caused by bacterial pollution.
