Briefly describe the division and characteristics of Jin culture area.

The so-called Jin culture is the culture created by Jin people in the pre-Qin period. It is a regional culture in the pre-Qin period, which is opposite to Chu culture, Qin culture, Qilu culture and Yan culture in the same period. Jin culture began with the establishment of the State of Jin and ended with the demise of the Three Kingdoms. Although Sanjin is not named after Jin and its territory is wider than that of Jin, its cultural tradition originated from Jin, and its cultural connotation comes down in one continuous line with Jin culture, which naturally belongs to the category of Jin culture. The distribution space of Jin culture includes the whole territory ruled by Jin and Sanjin, and is not limited to the administrative divisions of Shanxi Province today.

First, Shanxi has a long history and is one of the central areas of the origin of Chinese civilization. The ancient history records "Pingyang, Shundu Puban, Anyi, Du Yao", which tells the history of the earliest heroes of the Chinese nation starting businesses in the lower reaches of Fenhe River. The word "China", which first appeared in the history books, refers to the south of Shanxi in the ancient Yu Shun era. In China's local civilization, the cultural heritage of the western regions has never stopped, which shows that Shanxi's traditional culture has a profound humanistic accumulation and rich humanistic soil.

Second: Yanbei (also known as Daibei), an inclusive and open Shanxi province, is located outside the Great Wall, and historically it is a place where the Han nationality in the Central Plains and the northern minorities have long competed. Generally speaking, the Han regime in the Central Plains is relatively stable and powerful, and Yanbei is relatively prosperous even if the whole country is unified. The central plains Han regime was weakened, Yanbei was the battlefield, and the economy was destroyed. If the Central Plains regime is corrupt and civil wars continue, Yanbei will be occupied by northern minorities. Therefore, in thousands of years of historical development, Yanbei has always been a place of great ethnic integration, which shows that Shanxi people have never been closed in history.

Third, pioneering and innovating Shanxi traditional culture has the distinct characteristics of constant change and progress, and always walks in the forefront of the times. Throughout the history of Shanxi traditional culture, the pace of social change is always accompanied by the emergence of progressive ideas.
