Why are Iranian scarves so expensive?
The quality is good and the materials are exquisite, so the price is very high.
Iranian traditional costumes are mainly black, and the styles and colors of the costumes are still relatively simple. Many traditional women even wear black robes and long black scarves.
Materials are exquisite, generally selected from silk, cotton and wool. The more silk is used, the more expensive it is. Dyes are extracted from natural plants and minerals, such as pomegranate peel, walnut shell, madder, clover, indigo, potassium alum and so on. The dyes extracted by this method can keep the color for a long time, and many carpets woven in Iran hundreds of years ago are still very bright.
