Who was the first to propose ways to change the role of journalists in traditional media?
Jonathan Strickland is a media theorist, educator and critic. He first proposed ways to change the role of traditional media reporters. In 1980s, strickland began to reflect on the role of traditional media reporters, and put forward the viewpoint that journalists should become diverse news narrators, explorers and social participation media people across borders, and become one of the important thinkers in the field of media research. He believes that traditional media reporters need to get rid of the old thinking in the past, embrace new technologies and new media, and present news with a broader vision and a more diversified perspective, so as to better adapt to the current media environment.
